The team I've been working toward is: Dooku (L), Yoda, Rey, RP, Lumi
(maybe replacing Dooku with maxed Old Ben)
BUT, if neither of those work out with the new Meta, I'll probably run Boba (L), Phasma, FOTP, IG86, IG88
It'll be a long haul to change up entirely, but hey, I ENJOY the game, and that's the point, isn't it?
If you enjoy ONLY winning, go play against some third graders at basketball. But, I'd suggest that you play games that you enjoy PLAYING
They'd have to completely alter everything to change thinks like 88 to be useful, like adding dodge. Daka and Dooku will stil manage to stun a FOTP. Nothing changes that much, but speed teams will get tamed a bit, just dmg reduced 10% and HP increase of 10% of the chars max HP as fortitude activated at level 76 or so will change the meta a bit to see a little less slaughter in the first 5 attacks.
My best solution would have been to add an "intensity" bar, that if you wait it accumulates and will charge your normal attack (or special) for 30% more damage, and reduce all damage -30% so that very very fast chars will hit less strongly ONLY IN THE FIRST ATTACK (which is what causes the imbalance).
I wish CG would read this, as I know I am right here. I like this best than needing speedsters or buffing slow heavy hitters even more, because after turn 2 all chars are more leveled
There's a plethora of counter toons available, both to PTW and FTP players. Therefore I really don't think this will be the new meta. Still good, but not game breaking or unbalanced.
Lando (aoe + reset aoe on crit)
Greedo (bonus attack on crit)
Phasma (turn meter + advantage = guarenteed crit + aoe)
Tank ??

Picard should be the Leader and replace Trebek with Chuck Norris. Every team could use Chuck Norris.
These are definitely valid points. I do like Picard's leader ability and his anti-Borg synergy. I'll probably give that a try.
But I'm on the fence about replacing Alex Trebek with Chuck Norris. Trebek already knows all the answers to jeopardy which would obviously provide Advantage to his whole team. And Jesse's post specifically says they are balancing fast, high DPS toons. So Chuck Norris may be a gamble in this case.
Maybe we can convert Cad Bane to Walker Texas Ranger.
You can take Boba out if you're gonna run Greedo (put as lead) and Lando since they are your attackers and both scoundrels. Agree that Greedo, Lando and Phasma together are just going to be stupid. RG should be ran with them, or Poe at the least.
IF defense is gonna really affect this game that much, then a Chewy lead with RG and Bariss with two attackers would brutal to face.
