It was really hard to trash LoVer with Kylo-daka-zombie and even IT, but now it's a lot easier
So thank you for nerfing him. Didn't check if SLKR + full FO can wipe the holotable with hum, but seems like it's now possible.
Pity that I unlocked him though, but it's also nice to have another looser wheel-chaired character like that zombie palpatine to laugh of.
The only negative effect to it is that it's really hard to counter GK now with non-mirror teams, so I hope for some boba-like character against GK for GA

Just because he’s the most expensive doesn’t define that he needs to be the best. The easier it is now to take a character to G12 because of the economy changes to gear will result in higher relic levels required for events such as future GL’s. Say goodbye to R3’s and more likely R5’s next and hello to more R7’s & R8’s in the future, potentially even R9’s aswell. The expenses of these characters shouldn’t define what GL is best.
UPd I nearly defeated R9 LV + R9 Maul + R9 Piett + R8 DV + R8 Royal Guard with GAS. Only LV remained
That would be a fine argument if they weren't throwing around "protecting players' investment" whenever they decide to ruin a counter. The simple fact is that LV needs the biggest investment. If their argument is more than just excuse, his power should match it.
He’s awful for offense because you will lose a million banners; unless I take him to solo like a jtr team I guess?
I'm not whining about anything. I'm just pointing out the obvious hypocrisy in arguing by "protecting investments" when it's nerf hammer time while letting literally the most expensive unit in the game kinda suck, as you put it.
And btw I'm getting him, mosty because I don't have much else to do right now. SK is still too far and SEE is even worse.

Couldn’t have worded this any better. People will whine because that’s what they do, you will never benefit the whole consumer base. A lot of people are still happy with lord vader, yes he aint the best but he’s nowhere near the worst. To be honest I can’t believe threads like this still exist, LV came out a few months ago and it’s like people are blindsided that he aint the best GL ever lol.
Who would you put as the worst gl? I think there is a strong argument for him being the worst. The salty part is that he cost the most for being close to the worst if not the worst.
I personally would have to put SEE at the bottom of the list, I know he’s the cheapest in resources but for him to even be viable against most gl’s he needs WAT and or armourer alongside him. Which is absurd, but that’s another story for a different thread.
The next batch of GL’s could require R9’s and be even worse than the first 2 GL’s but that doesn’t stop the fact that new and improved means better overall. That’s what people don’t like about lord vader and that’s where the extra salt comes from.
If you believe it was an accident. Wouldnt surprise me if this is a new bussines strategy to make character look better when they're new while allowing CG to tone them down before the next big thing comes out. They did a similar thing with Malevolence not too long before Executor was released.
