Imagine if you will, the year is 2022 and Jabba the Hutt was living amongst us.

An upstanding citizen with no criminal background.

Which profession do you think Jabba would be doing?

My Answer:

I personally see Jabba owning a construction company.

Slogan:

"From Hutt to home, your dream IS our Jabba."

Ok, I tried to imagine a few occupations for Jabba - politician, nightclub owner, vineyard owner/wine connoisseur - they all somehow led to him in some backroom in some secret dealings. Nah, I think he's just hopeless.

Professional dancer. The Jabbawockeez are named after him (trust me. Its true. no need to Google this.) and his signature dance move would be the...worm.

Criminal? Nonononono. He would be the upstanding president of the local longshoreman's union, son of the previous president the local longshoreman's union, and the go-to guy when getting your shipment through customs is taking just a little too long.

Also a good guy to know since he's friends with the mayor. Got a nice, respectable 2 story house in town -- rich for a longshoreman these days, but easily explained when you realize that it was purchased by his father decades ago when longshoreman's wages were more middle-class. While you'll never find his name on any of the paperwork, he also has a regular place to crash in Aspen, the Catskills, West Hollywood, Miami, Cyprus, and Rabat. If he's not there, he's probably in one of the hotels he regularly visits in Manhattan, Odessa, Moscow, Singapore, or Rome. Sounds like a lot, I know, but he's never too busy to lend a regular union member a few hundred if their car goes to **** or talk to a hospital exec if you can't afford the treatment for your sick kid.

He's a good guy like that.

Professional Eater! Given his size, I imagine he’d give Joey Chestnut a run for his money at the hot dog eating contest.

No need to ask. He actually was the British Prime minister until a few weeks ago. Now he just writes a column in the Spectator

Although, of course, this is a very unrealistic question. In actuality Jabba would be highly unlikely to survive his first encounter with an eight year-old kid with a salt shaker…
