Ignore this nonsense.

I misheard the price as 9.99 when it's 19.99.

An extra cost of -5.01 USD?

    Should be 14.98, charged 30.

Not sure what you're on about.

    My bad, it's 14.99 US.
That will learn me to listen to streamers.

You got charged a little less than $1 extra. Not sure why, maybe due to fluctuations in the exchange rate. Not sure where you got the $14.98 figure from.

was the price not $20 usd?

Wait, did you think it’s priced $9.99 USD? It’s $19.99 here in the US.

Yeah my bad on this one.
Watched a video where the guy was saying $10.
    You're right, it's 19.99 USD.

NP, I’d be aggravated too if I thought there was that kind of price difference.

Not relevant in this case. But the exchange rates the game uses have always been ridiculously punitive. For CAD that's the case at least, where I don't think there's been one time in the past 7+ years that the in-game exchange rate (1.40) has come close to what the real exchange rate was (it usually has hovered around 1.30-1.32 in that time). Basically meaning we consistently have gotten screwed out of an extra 5-10% for no reason. I'm sure it's equally bad for many other non-USD currencies.

For polish currency (PLN) this pack costs like 30 USD. "“This is outrageous! It’s unfair!". I really wanted to buy that pack, but + 10 additional USD makes me pass it. ccglpzowj5hm.png

Or maybe is any way to change the the currency inside the game?

There is no such thing as "exchange rate" in the game. App prices isn't tied (and probably will never be) to actual currency exchange rates. It's just fixed numbers in local currency, and yes, in most mobile games I've seen USD prices are usually cheapest.

In Europe max. Crate for crystals costs 116.99 Eur= approx. 128 USD.
In US, max. Crate costs 99,99 USD, therefore, almost +30% of the cost in US.

I am from Slovakia and i really recommend to buy this lightspeed bundle via web store, where it costs ~20€, while inside the game store it costs something like ~24€... It's a good thing that this LSB is as a pack in Web Store, those previous ones were not in there.

It cost 23.99€ in webstore when it released, at least for me ..

US 19,99$, in Poland almost 30,50$ for the same thing. I have one question, why? The price is more than 50% higher.

SWGOH don't control the international rate. They set prices in USD, then Google/Apple set the exchange prices.

Complaining here won't do anything, as they can't change it. It's your OS at fault.

    Thanks for an explanation. :)

Taxes, many countries apply taxes to every purchase, in my case everything will cost 26% more compared to US prices.

It's simply not true. It's 100% possible to set regional prices in local currency in both Apple and Google stores.

This is not true, for example: Vault crystal pack costs 119.99€ in game (android) and in webstore (PC)

    Example with "discount"
SCORCHING AMBITION DATACRON BUNDLE II - $24.99 (22.868€)

PC Webstore - 28.49€ (this is a price when I add 25% tax to 22.868)
Android - 29.99€ (1.5€ is additional fee taken by Google)

This is not discount. It's just regular price for item when country tax is added.

But in my country everyone get back paid taxes from previous year so it cost 22.868€ at the end.

This is not the same. They are different stores, so you can set different prices. In fact, considering Google (and Apple) takes a % of every transaction, CG earns more money from the cheaper webstore.

    Vault of Crystals 99.99$ [91.64€ + tax 25% = 114.55€]
    Android 119.99€
    WebStore 119.99€

    Crystal Container 9.99$ [9.16€ + tax 25% = 11.45€]
    Android 11.99€
    WebStore 11.99€

All crystal packs have same price on android and pc webstore

Limited offer are little bit lower then expected

    SABERED HAND BUNDLE II - $29.99 [27.48€ + tax 25% = 34.35€]
    Android 35.99€
    WebStore 34.19€

Different stores, different prices (or not). Crystals are cheaper in webstore, the packs have the same price but not the same amount of crystals.

And no store uses real time currency exchanges. They estimate a "stable" value. So, we can't asume "today 1 dolar is 0.91 euros so..."

Exchange rate doesn't matter... It's just approximation... Anyway...

I agree with you. Point is that (at least) in EU price includes tax and tax is paid back every year. In US is probably different tax system maybe you pay tax monthly or annually but there is no tax included in the store article. Don't know
