What to do with crystals?
Hello, I'm a f2p and I don't know what the best option to spend crystals on is. I currently am level 55 with toons 3-4*, lvl 40-54, and gear lvl 4-6

Might use some for gc later on since Im lvl 60 and gold is the only shortage atm. Might as well use energy for that as well after I'm done farming shards and mats.
Hope this answer is useful because if you mean the Arena rewards or GW rewards (shipments) it's a total different story ofcourse
Ya from the beggining of the game untill now, I thought it was best to get more toons instead of bettering your best ones.
Im f2p but i brought dooku + 100gem daily for 21days. Play since Dec 2. I just hit lv56 lastnight.
I use gems on refills for (50+50gems daily) , sometime i refill 100gems for cantina.
Great strategy, thank you I'm going to start using it, but do you mostly get gear, or shards? (Yeah those are the crystals I'm talking about)
With the 50 gem refills I usually made sure I did luminara, asokha & talia. The hard ones that cost 12-16 energy. Thats about 1 refill so you have 1 left. I use that one to sim ticket the gear I want most, the purples. That together with the 24h refill makes up for a lot. I just finished max rank luminara this way and now I need gold for max rank Talia (1 million). So spend gold wisely ^^
Think abiut this bug picture math before spending for shipment shards for Crystals: 50 Crys for each shard. Each char requires 300+ shards to become level 7*. So starring a char through shipments w/ Crystals requires more than 15,000 Crystals. Why? 300 * 50 = 15,000.
Cantina refreshis important as you get 1 to 2 Mark III mats that add to the 2 you get in GW, and about 2-4 twice a weak on Sundays and Thursday. So refresning Cantina twice can get you 10-16 Mark III per week, like 40-50 per month. This unlocks unique char abilities that represent the best upgrade a character can get. Eg. Luminara gets to heal 4 times the level 1 capacity at ability 6. Hiw nice is having 4 healers vs 1 really strong?
Resist temptation to play Chrome Casino. If you want to try, try it. Sometimes it will give you a random 4*, but usually it's best to have 4 shards that you need from a Cantina refresh than to have 10 shards that don't accomplish anything. Refular and Cantina also give you social currency for Bronzium. After a month, It will have to end up unlocking something!
Also, and nobody will give tou this great advise but me (lol, how self inflated!!), if you have anough shards to unlock a character, DO NOT ACTIVATE IT, UNLESS you know for sure it's key short term. Resist curiosity! Since you still don't have many chars unlocked, chances are high you will get a Bronzium character drop. And if not activated, you will get the unlock (eg. 4 stars unlocks give you 80 shards), then you use the saved shards to star it. But if you activate first, and then get the char, it will give you 35 shards - a huge penalty and setback for several weeks. I still have a few characters unlocked, and I wish I hadn't activated at least 5 of those I activated. Then eith Crystals you accelerate and get them to 6* asap.
