Does anyone know the official drop rates for gear in each tier?

Do tier 8 battles drop gear more regularly than tier 7?

    It has to be something 5-9% for purple mats in tier 8.

    There is no such thing as official droprates. CG never ever gave out any droprate as number. Just confirms validity of collected samples sometimes or denies a change in the rates.
