Yup. At one point I collected 5 different polls asking if people wanted mods (before and after they were released) all with a resounding 90% "no" answer. And I quoted @EA_Jesse saying "we listen to your feedback."
Guess what happened? Mods are still here and the poll function was removed for being abused.
If this was a country this kind of forced content and censorship would be like communist Germany.

I believe it showed a lot of negativity to the game and they didn't like it.
