Not saying they needed to add it but the difference is when you go 2+ levels deep in a section. The back button you have to press multiple times to get back to the main ships/guild/home section the home button takes you there in one press
Go to guild section
Then go into raids the go into rancor raid
The back button takes back to raids
The home button takes you back to guild section
Go to ships
Select ships inventory than select a ship to enhance or promote
The back button takes you back to ships inventory
The home button takes you back to ships section
I can't seem to return to characters collection after looking for some specific toons shards. It's either cycle between toon and his shards with left button or returning directly to menu with right
this small inconvenience is almost making you quit the game right? or at least stop spending until it's "fixed".

they don't really have to give the players anything to complain about. they always find something.
while i don't think these changes were needed they are all nice. i personally appreciate the speed of battles being an adjustable option instead of forced as i found the speed very adaquate to begin with. in fact i have not even tried the speed option yet and have no plans to myself.

It's called double tap
It's more useful and adds a little fun into the world a lot more than the new back button
