This. I could still easily field a strong team of five 7* Empire without Palp and Vader and I think it's a horrendous idea. The only good to come of this thread were the gifs.

Watch the beginning of Empire Strikes Back, Read Lords of the Sith, Read Star Wars Battlefront: Twilight Company, Read the Vader comics. Vader is an enforcer, he gets his hands more dirty than most people in the Empire. Also for Palp getting his hands dirty: again Lords of the Sith and Star Wars the Clone Wars.

It should be the opposite, not ban sith, but add all separatists. R2D2 is not only iconic in the Empire era but it has also been Anakin's droid in the Clon Wars era, actually it has been more bad a#$%@ as Anakin's droid than Luke's.

If you have five empire characters, 7*, max geared, modded and zeta'd you ARE in the exclusive club. Go look at the mega thread and see how many people are whining about NOT being able to get R2 and then tell us that it isn't exclusive.

Excluding Vader, and Emperor Palpatine is a ridiculous idea. What are they tagged as???? Sith, and Empire...... what were their jobs Palp ruled the empire, Vader was the empire enforcer. They are the most iconic , and most loved empire toons . It boils down to they have an empire tag and they can and will be used. This game is expensive enough without ideas like this lol.
That said you dont have to use Vader and Palp. Feel free to use who ever you want , and don't worry about who anybody else uses. And that's coming from a player with only a 5 star Palp, and 7 star Vader. I was still pretty new when the last emperor event happened.

I never said I didn't consider them Empire. My suggestion was to remove them as to showcase the new Imperial faction pass still allowing for many easily farmable characters. R2 shouldn't be a gimme by using the 2 most common and OP Empire toons.
