"Exclusive character reveal" as in you'll only see the reveal if you watch the live stream. That's how i took it at least.

I'd like him to be an anti-buff toon. Maybe someone that uses enemy buffs to his advantage, reverse enemy buffs into debuffs, or give enemy buffs to allies. Something like that. Also anti rebel abilities would be good too
How many Grand Admirals do you think we have in this game? He's not 'Thrawn'... He's 'Grand Admiral Thrawn'. Also, how many characters in this game have they revealed via an official live stream? To my knowledge, this will be the first. That's big. They probably chose this format to announce him because they're not just releasing a new character, but also new events and gameplay content. So lets see here... They're releasing a new 'Grand Admiral' along with new events and gameplay content? You can almost be sure that Ship content is getting a LONG overdue and much needed overhaul. Maybe we'll get ship energy and/or ship battle nodes? Some ship events perhaps? I'd suggest that there is a very high probability that ships will be required in some way to unlock him.
