Are the R2 and Thrawn events going to start looping with Palpatine and Yoda events, so after this next emperors demise event the R2 event will happen? Thanks
Nobody knows. Chances are, the new legendary events will appear 5-6 months after their first appearance to keep the trend, then they're likely to go into rotation.

Yoda went instantly into an every-month event. Palpatine was 4 months between the initial and recurring events. Not sure where you get 5-6 months as a trend.
What I'm curious about on this is, once their events come back around and go into rotation, what will that rotation be? Will it still be one per month, with the result being that each given event only comes once every four months? That strikes me as a bit much. Waiting two months between each chance you have at a major character is already a pretty big stretch of time.
Or could they become a two-per-month thing? Perhaps when the Yoda event closes in his month, R2's event opens, and then the next month sees Palpatine's event followed by Thrawn's. That seems more reasonable time-wise, but I don't know if the devs want legendary events to be that frequent, since it would basically mean that half of the time there would be a legendary event going on (two weeks of every month). Though I suppose if that were the only issue they could have the events overlap rather than be separated.

Is that true? I don't recall, but I thought there was a time where yoda event was an unknown and never actually went to monthly. It went by monthly with palp after some time. I guess I don't recall because after the second run when I completed it I never saw it again.
As I remember, emperor had a very rare tag on the event, took almost 6 months to return, and I got 5* first time because never used rebels before, fought hard to get 5 toons 5* and when returned I got emperor 7*, and Yoda event was before him, so I really believe you are Completely wrong about the event rotation between emperor and Yoda.

Ah, at least that's better. I thought you were asking for a source for the Yoda events, lol, since that's more what we were discussing.
Yes, a miss understanding I'd say, nowadays both happens in sequence, for example yoda January, March, may ...., And emperor February, April ...., Took some time for that to happen.

Pyrefly is 100% correct about the two dates for the two first times EP's events. You are wrong.
To be fair, I think the third time Emperor's Demise came around wasn't until April. Yoda was in January, and in February they made the announcement that they were going to rotate the two, starting with Yoda in March. I'd long since finished both Yoda and EP, so I can't remember, personally.
It would be great to put them into rotation after this next Palpatine event. It won't happen cause EA is going to EA this game as much as possible. I've got my rebel team ready for Palpatine and will be ready with my empire team for R2 if they just put it into rotation. I'm not even considering holding my breath on this though.

He is right about that, the wrong part we were discussing is that Yoda and emperor went on rotation right after they come up.
My question now is, when are they gonna bring back Thrawn, CLS and soon the BB-8 event. Unfortunately, I just don't have enough 7* toons for the BB-8 event.

That's what I remembered.
First Yoda event started 2/11/16. Second event started 3/11/16. Third event started 3/31/16.
First Palpatine event started 8/18/16. Second event started 12/23/16.
Source?
Wow. Just... wow.

He gave hyper links to CG comments about events, they are the blue letters... Just press on each sentence.
Facepalm lol, didn't realize they were links. Thanks.
