Could not agree more, the luster has worn off of territory battles already, and it's just not entertaining or fun to be honest.

It's because it's more end game content and lots and lots of people aren't there yet.
To the whales and super guilds they are loving it I'm sure.
First people to put gear 12 gear on (not talking just rolling over to 12) is going to dominate for awhile.
Funny thing is that we have a game with p2p and ftp players.
If it was all free then we would be hammered with adds and little commercials.
If it was a total pay game then the base would be way smaller.
I'm a p2p and have no complaints. I finish 1-2 usually at arena payout and all I play against is other p2p players and I love it. All maxed out toons to face is fun.
For the ftp getting gear you can't use seems pointless I'm sure at this stage but like all the other gear we collected,at some point will be waiting to be used.
Its not about being f2p or p2p, it's about for 60 bucks you get pc game and you don't need spend more but here what you get for 60 bucks? One bundle? Where this bundle take you in game? ( not far right). You can say its mobile game or you can play for free but I see really rich game which not giving much back to customers.
Devs prefer to reply to useless **** rather than real problems.
They make lot of money so I'm dissapoitted that game isn't in higher quality.
But I still enjoy game
Why would they say anything this week...with all the people buying their way to becoming golden God squads EA can literally not say nothing for 2 months and still be raking in the $$$$$!
This game has over a 120 toons imagine the cost of maxing all their gear much less half. Now multiple that times a couple-several thousand players and you can imagine that amount of money they are now bringing in. I bet it's more money than the release of a new toons or events.
Drop rates or so bad and raid drop rates are so bad that people are gonna spend tons to get gold gear.
Adding G12 was this games way to make huge profits and really divide the pay to play from the free to play.
You have really not looked close to requirements to get to G12, let's explain,
Most toons just need 1-2 pieces of new gear to get to G12, that gear is either one of 3,
Arakyd droidcallers mk VI
BioTech implant mk IX
Zaltin bacta gel "thing" mk IV
They are all farmable in normal mode missions( the droidcallers have a very nice little drop with merr-son mk III salvage, and voila, you are gear XII, you could say that you can't be G12 in 3 days with all toons if you're F2P, but come on, it took me 2 weeks to have 2 toons geared, so no biggie.
Then you have the Actual G12 pieces that cannot be bought with anything but TB currency, again we are all getting that. Here, it's obvious again that whales or people in stronger guilds will have more currency, but you can me earning a minimum of 60% of what they are earning with some effort of a good F2P guild( obviously here will be a couple of whales).
So, sorry @HardPill2Swallow but I don't get your rant, I understand you want everything maxed and starred by yesterday as a F2P like all of us, but well, it won't happen

About the money thing: this is why I'm F2P. This game doesn't deal in microtransactions, which is what IAPs were originally intended for, and what any rational person would limit themselves to. $5 doesn't buy you **** in this game. They pushed the limits a while back with the citadel packs and had to swing back a bit, but they must have hit the sweet spot with the 1299 crystal packs.
I guess since enough people are willing to spend exorbitant amounts of money for a slight competitive edge (or whatever their reasons are) it makes it worth all the purchases you lose from people not willing to spend as much. I don't think anyone would have predicted this in, say, 2007 when I was buying complete PC games for $50 and complete cell phone games for $5. I'm glad I can still buy those games, but the effect the freemium model has had can't be ignored. Look at the trend of releasing 80% complete games then later charging $20 for DLC that rounds it out. It's a shame, really. But I don't blame the devs... Just like casinos, if people are willing to part with their hard earned cash who am I to stop them.
