7 Star Thrawn Mission is too hard

Come on guys! I’ve been working my butt off daily and got my pheonix characters to 7 stars since the first thrawn event, but with one gear 10 and the rest gear 8 I get wiped by the 7 Star Thrawn. It’s unfair. I can’t even spend money to get them stronger. Gear doesn’t appear often enough. Palpatine’s 7 Star wasn’t nearly this difficult. None of them were! I just want my favorite villain to be at his best.

Actually I'm f2p and managed to to it with half-bad mods, g9 chopper and everything else g8. I still had to play it a few times though.

I did it in about 200 tries lol. I'll link my team so you can see what I had. Just follow the strategy man in your eventually get it don't give up.

OP, are you using Sabine? If so, switch to chopper. It is beatable with all gear 8. None of my mod sets were higher than +44 speed, too.

Just follow the strategy dispell the Stormtrooper kill the death Troopers then the healers then Stormtrooper and then finally thrawn

Hard to do when stormtrooper do the taunt and you just used chopper to dispel initial taunt and Ezra to dispel one DT buff, making the other buffed DT a killing machine.

That happened to me a few times. Just keep playing it. You will get a good roll. And even if ST taunts again the critical damage immunity is gone so he will be easier to kill

I don’t have Sabine like you do. I’ve got everyone els and those death troopers just destroy me.

Sabine was nice since her one attack dispell the buff on the deathtroopers

That was a great video! I wish I had Sabine at 7. Just the others. Her gear is right. Any tips for doing it with chopper?

Don't forget Zeb's stagger dispels the DT's buff. That's chopper's dispel to the taunter, ezra's dispel to one DT, and Zeb's stagger to the other DT.

If you put stagger on the DTs, they lose their buff

Most of my guild mates actually had Chopper so I was worried I will not be able to complete it without him. Probably it makes it easier if you do have him as you have then double taunters in there. Let's say:

- Chopper taunts first gets fractured
- This leaves Kanan to taunt and counter-attack to apply offense down on each and every enemy
- Hence why it is good to add some CC to Kanan
- Add the 'revive' buff on Kanan
- Keep feeding Kanan protection up with Zeb and Ezra

How did you do it you have hardly any speed I have more speed than you and I'm getting killed is chopper that much better than Sabine?

I've since taking the mods off. I had Ezra at 204 speed and Hera at 206 speed Chopper at 204 also. Loaded protection mods on Kanan and chopper and put a ton of offense on ezra. Crit damage on sabine

I've added some gear... It's worse! I've seen the videos with people beating it and I'm baffled. Thrawn is very inactive. Like I'm playing a different game. No reward is going to make up for the frustration and anger I get from this. The event is so unbalanced, is like it stops being agresive for different combinations. No advises are gonna change the behavior of the AI, unless I have a more powerful team and the AI just behaves erratic. Good luck supporting this kind of things in games free to play or not. What I'm afraid is the next time the event will come they'll make it harder again. I've seen a lot of people saying it's not harder, even knowing that the AI for Thrawn was umped after the first event. If next time we will need zetas to get the 7 stars, should I be legitimately upset or I will be considered unprepared, like a lot of folks are saying?

I finally did it today with no chopper, G10 Hera, and G8 everyone else, omegas on their uniques. I took my mods off my arena team so all of Phoenix was ~200 speed. Still took me 2 hours of attempts, but finally got Thrawn's 7th star.

Have you adjusted your mods since getting Thrawn? Curious because some of your speeds are pretty low. Trying to help a friend out who is without Ezra

Finally successful. All g8. And Sabine instead of chopper. Took zeb to g8 after about 150 tries at g7 and within 5 tries I had him. But still took a bunch of luck

I had mediocre mods (some even mk i) and I was level 81. I followed the strategy, and I got very lucky. My squad power was 62.9k. I had 5 toons left standing after I beat him. This event is just pure luck. Keep trying. It’s possible, I promise.
