Arena Advice

Hi there,

I use an arena team of KRU(L), Boba, Kylo, Vader, and DN. I'm lvl 57 and usually place within the top 25 of my shard. Will this team keep me in the top of the arena as I progress in lvl? Any advice would be appreciated!

You might be fine for a while. Eventually you will need a more synergized team.

i think you should use fo team with kru lead
Farm Phoenix for thrawn and palpatine
Thrawn palpatine and 3 other empire toon for r2d2
First order for bb8
Farmboy old ben r2d2 Leia stormhan for CLS
A lot to do but my suggesst

I started using a full fo team for arena and thought that fost, foo, and fotp are way too squishy. I mean fost has no health steal for cryin out loud..couldn't believe he has no way of healing himself.

FOST has 10% health steal eventually, just not at your gear level.

Scoundrels and Phoenix would be my advice. If you can beat those guys to the top tier of the Credit Heist, you'll probably over take them. Getting to level 6o isn't that difficult, getting 10-15 toons from 60 to 85 is very expensive.

It isn't gonna be sexy, but look... arena ranks 1001 - 2500 is 40 crystals. You are giving up nothing, but tripling your credit earn. Also, when you start leveling up characters to 85 and leveling mods to L15 and you arena mates are still barley able to do T1-2 of the heist you will be in great shape.

Huh, so you think the best option is farming scoundrels for credit heist? Before or after farming Phoenix? I think the EP event is coming up soon and I would like to have him at 5* so Phoenix has been my priority.

Well, you're in great shape in arena and you may even fall a bit... But the credit costs to level all these characters up is huge. So what if you have five 7* Phoenix toons if it takes 6.2M EACH to level them to 85 and be useful. That's 32M or about 20 Credit Heists at Tier 2!!! 20 Credit Heists, about 10 days between each one.... oh geez...

Don't get me started on mods.... Once you start REALLY needing mods to be competitive, a 5* mod cost just under 500k, so a full set is almost 3M credits.

Again... if you want to get ahead it is important to start thinking about the long term costs. There will be other ways to earn a good amount of credits, but they will require various teams to participate in different raids/events and those teams will have to be leveled to 85 to have the best chance to collect the rewards.

Hear me now - believe me later.. but get so you can collect top tier Credit Heists a fast as possible.

So I'm thinking get phoenix to 5* which will be done in the next few days, then start farming scoundrels. Boba, Lando, ST Han, CW Chewy, who would be my 5th that is easy to farm?

Cad Bane out of GW is probably the easiest but IG-88 is the best option but takes arena currency...

So i'd have to switch off between ST Han and IG-88 using arena currency, or get 10-15 shards of Cad Bane a day...tough decision

The thing about Cad Bane is that you'll probably need him, Dengar, or Zam to do the DS TB special mission... unless you have 2-3 high geared Hunters. Also, you wont need the Scoundrels at 7*... probably about 5 or so. If you can complete GW most days, Cad Bane will fly by.

oh only at 5*, well that's easy. Should I push Boba and Lando to 7* though? I see people saying they are very viable late game.

Just regarding credit heists you are level limited regarding which ones you can enter. Does anyone know what the unlock requirements are?

Are there scoundrel requirements to enter. A five star boba and a 4 star lando probably all but solo the tier that lasts from level 50-70.

What is the minimum to participate in the one from level 70-80. For me I've finished Phoenix and I am pushing Boba and Lando and sth who I expect to all but carry me. I'm in a good guild and expect to unlock Raid Han before I get to the level 80 credit heist.

Oh for sure with Boba, ST Han and Lando 7* them. It is gear that will matter for the Heists.

Gear 2 Scoundrels to say Gear 7-8 for the Heist and keep going with the three above. I think my other 2 were IG-88 and Gamorrean Guard.
