What is the Best team for Galactic War!?

Prev13
I started my Galactic Wars off by beating them every day. Then all the sudden they got impossible. Then all the sudden they got easy. Then all the sudden now they're impossible and have been for a few weeks.

So i just want to know what the BEST team possible is for Galactic War so i can stop struggling with this -thanks

I have found Barris to be worth her weight in gold for my GW. My GW team is 6*Barris lead, 6*QGJ, 6*IG86, 6*Assaj Ventress, and 7*Lumi. I beat it every day. Usually w/o losing anyone.

Luminara (leader), Sidious, Jedi Counselar, Old Daka, and Dooku. Lots of healing capability is essential in building a sustainable team. Sidious' self-healing is gold in GW. I have won every day the last few weeks.

    Mine is:

Bariss-lead, Daka, Lumni, GS, Rey. It beats probably every team I've encountered also with full health and refreshes for the next match.

There is no best team. There are many viable combinations. I run QGJ, Anakin, Luminara, JC, Rey.

    I beat it daily with

    Phasma (Leader)
    Luminara
    Jedi Consular
    Darth Sidious
    Chewbacca

I use this same setup but use Sidious instead of Rey as I don't have her plus I like his healing debuff.

Have never had a issue with finishing GW with this group start to finish.

I guess the grind continues then xD thanks guys

I have Rey, Sid, QGJ, Lumi, JC, bariss, phasma, and yoda but i guess its just the plain fact that when i come against a team with 7 star 70s including Sid, Dooku, Barriss, and some droids its just hopeless xD

Dooku, Daka, and Eeth Koth are key players since they can stun those problematic lvl 70 7* toons you'll come up against. Especially Dooku since he usually goes first.

Funny part is i dont have any of em that are high enough to do anything.

I beat every Team since the last 10 Days.

    Lead Captain P 6*
    Chewie 4*
    Sid 5*
    Lumi 5*
Rey 4* (third attack knocks out every opponent in combination with Sid as leader)

I use almost the same thing. Barriss (L), Lumi, JC, Sid, and Kylo. I find the low cooldown on JC's heal invaluable.

I use the Barriss(L), Lumi, Daka, Sid, Kylo tema mentioned before. Have been experimenting with swapping Daka out for QGJ, which seems to be going well, but extra heal is nice as all hell.

There are 2 approachs: tanky guys with Barris L and self/auto heals (typical being dudes like Kylo, Fives, Sid, even Ventress) and Speed Nukers-Stunnwrs to counter threats.
I use QGJ (L), Lumi, JC, GS, IG86, with Dooku and Daka as bench options to Stun people

Good info. I've been screwed in GW the last few weeks. I'm happy to get 400 jems. I'm running into 7* 70 full teams in my 3 and 4 matches. I won 6 yesterday and was pretty happy. Also on the fence to stop playing since GW is my main source of rewards. Also I'm spending way too much time on here daily. Got a 4* Barriss today in a bronze card. That will keep me happy for a bit.

I've been running Sid, Lumi, jc, Luke, and poggle. All are at 70 and 7* except Poggle is st 6* for the moment.

I'm max level and do pretty well in Arena with a 27,500ish Arena Squad power - so GW is really interesting for me!

I find that one team just doesn't cut it - the point of GW is to use your entire roster. I have an A Team, and then alternate teams and suicide teams that I use situationally.

    My A Team:
    QGJ
    Lumi
    JC
    GS
    86

I find this team to be very useful:
-QGJ + 2 other Jedi make for good speed.
-QGJ + GS + 86 all have assist attacks to take down enemies as quickly as possible
-Lumi + JC both have good heals and decent attacks in between.
-Most of the time my QGJ goes first - I take out a dangerous opponent with assist attack (usually Daka or glass cannon)
-Then if they have Sid (they usually do for me) I take him out with the GS assist attack (less chance of a Jedi dodge)
-I use Lumi to ability block someone (their Lumi, or Phasma, or Kylo)
-86 is a good cleanup hitter - I try not to use his assist unless I really need it because his cool down takes longer than GS/QGJ. It's nice to bring in his assist attack if someone on their team puts out a heal. His basic attack is pretty good when he's maxed and can usually finish off someone who's partially damaged.
-I try to use JCs heal primarily because it has a better cool down.
-Lumi's heal is good if you take a lot of damage early because you get bonus heals the next round and gives you time for the cool down.

Even the A team can get hurt pretty bad - especially after facing multiple max level teams in a row which seems to be most of the time now for me. Sometimes if I lose someone I will retreat and use an alternate team to either do a whole battle (losing 1 or 2 of them) or use a suicide squad knowing that they'll die but hoping that they will trigger the AI's specials. Even with suicide squads I hope to take out at least one of theirs (Dooku or Sid) to make the A teams job easier when I bring them back.

Keep expanding your roster - that's key no matter who your A team is - good luck!

    I run
    Barriss (L)
    Lumi
    QGJ
    FOTP
    GS

I don't have to sub in team B or suicide squads until 9+. Works pretty well. Just move FOTP to whichever slot the assist is called and it's a 5v4 from the start.

I haven't lost a GW in as long as I can remember.

    Squad:

    Barris (L) / Lumi / Sid / Dooku / GS.

Whenever there is a team where it looks like I might lose one of my main squad - I send in a fodder team to get rid of powerful abilities such as: Poggle offence up, Poe taunt, Old Ben debuff, Dooku lightning, GS/QGJ assist attacks etc. Then, I bring in my main "sustain" team and destroy the team while ensuring my team is full hp at the end, and that I either have Barris' heal or Lumi's heal off cooldown for the next fight.

If i'm against an EXTREMELY difficult team like: QGJ (L) / Old Ben / Yoda / Rey / Royal Guard (faced this today) - I first send in a 5 man fodder team, THEN i put in a 5 man B team. For me it's something like QGJ / kylo / poggle / poe / daka. Basically, something that can suicide or half suicide to nuke the entire team or a kill a few key members. Then I bring in the sustain team & rinse/repeat.

    Follow this to destroy GW.

This is pretty close to mine except I run Rey instead of I-86. All good advice here.

A tip I use sometimes when I need t wreck some havok vs a really hard team is to use Anakin in a team with sacrificio lambs (Sid and Ventress work well too, with 25% chance to gain TM). Anakin gains a free turn everytime someone dies. With a bit of RNG juggle so he is not targeted soon, he can do a big dent in enemy squad.

I go Phasma lead, lumi, storm trooper han, gs and Jedi consular.

I think a core of barriss (lead), luminara, and jc may be the 'best' for gw in general. I like two high speed attackers in the remaining slots such as Sid (heal block, sustain) and geo soldier (single target burst, short CD, broken in general). The last two slots can be changed around with other characters like daka, dooku, qgj or other specialists depending on the enemy team.

You want to single target nuke the biggest threat asap, usually Sid before he can heal block. Only use luminara's heal on the first turn if needed so it will be off cd for the next battle. JC's heal is to be used liberally on CD. Barriss heal can be used for emergencies as needed.

After the biggest 1-2 threats have been eliminated you should be in stabilization mode, killing the highest hp lowest damaging characters last and as slowly as possible to restore your cooldowns for the next battle.

If you use GS assist and he calls lumi, just retreat and swap lumi and Fotp (or whoever) in team make up screen. GS will still call the 'slot' that lumi was in, but now it's fotp instead of her.

It works well in the other way too. If Dooku stuns your QGJ from the start, retreat and swap QGJ and GS spots. Dooku will now try to stun GS and may fail this time.
