New C3po comp

So I was doing some theory crafting, because it's fun. AA lead, c3po, OG Han, Chewbacca, and Hoda. Testing in GW and C3po's basic is not triggering an assist. It isnt an attack so it should. Is this a bug or am I overlooking something?

I would call it a bug. The lead ability says "whenever a rebel uses an ability that isn't an attack"

So my guildmates and I have been tinkering with this. We think it's because 3po debuffs his target and that is considered and attack. Other toons that land debuffs but no damage do not trigger it either. 3 years and I never knew that a debuff was an attack, or AA lead is broken.

I believe @Mfish is right. Debuffs are attack’s. Old ben's mind tricks don’t trigger it either.

As said above, he's inflicting/attempting to inflict a debuff, the mechanics treat it as an attack. WAI, or at least it is with others like Old Ben and Asajj (buff and TM removal counting as an attack in her case).

It's worked like this since the beginning. Anything that inflicts a negative effect, be it a debuff or TMR or whatever is considered an attack by Ackbar, and won't trigger an assist.
