Trouble loading past checking for updates

Hi, is anyone else having trouble getting into the game? I use iOS and am Australian, just can’t get past checking updates

I thought it was just me. Makes sense. My mobile is with Optus where the game doesn't work but it works on my Ipad which is Telstra. Good to know!
