I've seen people complaining about timing out, so this is false.
wat ? who has timed out in this meta.... maybe 8 months ago.
It is interesting tho I should test it and see over the course of a full speed 5 min match just how much time is spent on those animations.... 15 seconds, 30 seconds ???? Which capital ships had the longest animations...or were they all equal...
MAYBE.... their game testers were testing the new GR meta they created with the negotiatior and found out even with an offense based GR team it was still timing everyone out and they needed the extra 20 seconds saved to make things bearable.... (personally I hope this is false) that means ship battles would be going to 4:30 every time that....would be painful lol)
I'll personally miss the animations but i'll enjoy 21 second wins more !!!
EDIT : MEH kinda only thinking of myself here.... newer ship shards might be running a lot of mace and with the new GR ship coming maybe more GR I could actually see a ton of timeout fleets running in early shards....still that's a ton of people...so this makes some sense...if it did add up to more than 30 seconds over 5 min
