They did reward us by finally giving Vet Han and Chewy Resistance tags!
Will they do that? I've checked and both doesn't have the Resistance tag?
EDIT: YET. I've just read the post related to that. I wonder how much having both will help out the resistance team. I doubt that it will dethrone JTR lead team with BB8/Finn/Scav Rey/R2 but I'm interested to see how they will do in a second team.

I am interested to see their interaction with Finn lead and SRey. It isn't worth breaking up JTR and the droids, but heck, Rose, Holdo, or Poe could all add solid debuffing, turn meter manipulation, and overall resistance (pun) to this solid B-tier team on defense or offense.
Also, these are from 4 months ago, pre rework. With that being said, maybe there's a Rose rework coming that will bring her up to this level, but since their release Rose has had nothing on the vets.
I am 100% ready for both GL Rey and Kylo. It was a sad day today to take VH and Rose to g13 and r3 and r5. Still at this point I am 250k crystals maybe more into all phases of the prerequisites. If I didnt already have the starting points that I did, it would easily be 500k crystals. If you are not willing to spend, I dont see anyone less than krackens and whales getting in the first few months.
I hope this Rose and VH turns many away so the eliteness can last longer. Now if these 2 GL toon kits are not raid boss like studs, it will be highly disappointing.

Good enough for me if it's good enough for you. Luckily the last mega kraken quitted right after GLs were revealed in my shard. Maybe some sleeper ones way down the ranks will emerge to the occasion of opportunity, doubt it though.
