After months of daily grinding, I finally got Rey to 7* / Level 70 / and nearly max gear (Just need a few more insane 50-blowdryer things) I know a lot of other people have already done this, but I just had to share my accomplishment.
My Ally Code, if anybody is interested is: 398-678-449. Yes, I put Rey as my team leader for Challenges in order to be a good Ally. I also have 8 other 7* toons. Only have a few Ally lots left, so come quick.

Oh hail the almighty Queen of 1-shots!
Just wait till lvl 90 and you 172 speed Rey will be the death star.
I just cleared halfway but she goes pretty fast if you invest 100 crystals in refreshes for two nodes. 5 yards a day is a pretty good pace. With the cap rising those crystals and the extra energy will go back into gear so back to 3 shards a day.
Her and RG are definitely worth hard farming even as an FTP.

I am 41/100 too! It seems to take a while but after 6 stars it seems to have picked up. Although I still get days I go 1/9, usually I get at least 3 per day. Only 19 more days (hopefully less) and she will be 7*. I would imagine she is going to stay awesome.

The drop rate sometimes makes you want to stop farming and go for Lobot.
