So my guild was just matched against a cheeseball guild which has the same exact name as at least 4 other guilds in their 'horde'. That meant we had no way to see which one of these we were matched up against when planning for TW.
Mathematically we expected that it would be a guild closer to our guild's GP and GL count. However the sleazy sandbaggers who we were pitted against have way more GP and GL count. So the wonderful ability for people to cheat by rigging the matchmaking system continues and never seems to be addressed by CG....
Grab a couple of the opposing guild's player's names and search for them on Swgoh.gg instead.
Hard to do that in setup phase though…
Yeah. We had to make an guess based on trying to figure out which one seemed most probable. Unfortunately the opposing guild was hugely sandbagging and we are totally outgunned for GLs/ other meta.
I wish CG would add a way to see the opposing guild's roster from the TW matchmaking display. Then we could have gone to gg to view units. Currently when there are mega guilds doing this it is pretty near impossible to know which version of cheese you are pitted against.

Fair shout. Didn't read it properly. At least they'll be able to find out how big the GP gap is now.
