I could maybe see a GL Darksaber Mando with Grogu vs an Imperial Remnant Thrawn? I'm sure he'll be the big bad guy in Mandos season 3. Not saying they deserve GL status at all but we are running out of character requirements for future GLs...
Personally I think any more GLs is pointless and undermines the original ones released. I'd rather see an influx of NEW characters/factions/ships added all at one time. Something that really gives whales/first dayers something to work on and think about next steps.

I would love the game to be flooded by 20+ non-named and one-off characters that won't be meta, but will be "good enough to use anywhere in the game" level of effectiveness.
This way everyone across the board can farm whomever they like to add variety to the game.

Pretty sure the droideka in Episode 1 did have shields. Otherwise Qui Gon and Obi wouldn't have had to force sprint away. Otherwise, they could have just deflected, closed the distance, and sliced them in twain.
I know about those ones. But what about the ones on Naboo during the war with the Gungans?
When Jar Jar was circus'ing around and took out one by shooting the leg. The blaster bolt didn't go through a shield.
I'm pretty sure I saw Droidekas not deploy a shield in Ep 2, during the battle in the arena.
Or I could be mis-remembering from Galactic Battlegrounds.

I'm going with Krrsantan. I mean it's been very quiet since BoBF launched, and BHs could use another tank. It'll be interesting to see what they do with his kit. I'd love to see something where his damage ramps up as he's hit, and has 100% counter chance.

I think so too. It doesn't preclude him from being the big bad of Mando too, but I don't think we will see more than a cameo from him in s3.
It sort of does, since Ahsoka is likely about finding Thrawn/Ezra out beyond the outer rim, or something to that effect. That was the premise given at the end of rebels.
