CLS and SLKR Stun

I just tried to use my SLKR team against a CLS team, and during the battle I used Stasis Strike against CLS twice and he was not stunned either time.

How does this work on an ability which specifically says, "Stun target enemy for 2 turns, which can't be copied, dispelled, or resisted"?

Guard from Chewbacca makes him immune to Stun.

Immunity trumps "cannot be resisted".

Also makes them immune to critical hits, just for reference. Good luck!
