Just unlocked Darth Vader and I am being offered to buy the boost to level 43 that brings me from 288 to 2482 power. Thoughts?

    I don't think so, if you had enough to unlock him you should have enough gear, credits to raise him to that with what you have already

    I think should share my experience here.
    It took me less time to level him up to Lv50 and gear tier6 than to go through all the payment process to have him upgraded.

    Truth, and then that's where he stays pretty much for all time. 4 months and some change and I've got him 2/3 of they to 5* :'(

    It's bad value. People don't get rich or stay rich by spending on bad value.

    It should be, Unless you're stoopid. I don't think that 16 bucks is an issue for any of the guys playing. Vfm is something else.

    I wasn't offered that but it seems to me that he is a very slow upgrade and will remain fairly irrelevant for a very long time. I'd not pay to upgrade him....

    Actually, it's not about the one toon. 16 bucks will buy you a lot more energy which you can use to level and gear up any toon much higher.

    I've seen posters write about this boosting with other characters that get unlocked. Is this just an iOS thing maybe or a bonus for super-whales? I have unlocked a couple characters recently and have not seen this "boost" offer, curious.

    I'm not exactly sure what's included in the package but Vader's not worth any amount of money right now. Mine's sitting at level 65 gear VI where he'll stay until he's improved on and farmable. I don't know why they made him so weak.

    Lifetime spend, yes, tax not included, may be as high as 3 bills, and you have to unlock after that criteria. Also, it is a new patch so unlock had to happen these last two weeks. I dont think it is a platform exclusive.

    I dunno about the 200$ spend thing but read somewhere here that's a test "feature". Haven't got the offer myself but rest assured, we are not missing out.

    Honestly, if I could unlock a character at 3 or 4-stars and take it to 5-stars for $15, that's not a bad deal when you consider all of the crystal refreshes it takes and time.

    This package is worth about $0.50. If it went to a higher level and gear level it would have at least a chance of being worthwhile. They want to charge you a ton to bypass the easiest/cheapest part of the leveling progress.

    The only way it'd be even remotely worth it would be if it included a instance promotion from 4* to 5* or higher. Since it doesn't, pass.
