Would it also max Vader's abilities with purple mat3 to level 7? If yes, it's worth it. If not, go by what other posters say: you probably have enough gear to do it yourself. Besides leveling to 43 doesn't require a lot of credits
Honestly, if I could unlock a character at 3 or 4-stars and take it to 5-stars for $15, that's not a bad deal when you consider all of the crystal refreshes it takes and time.

I just hope the marketing crew are reading this thread. They'll have to do much better than that to get my money. I'm fine with the idea, but the value just isn't there currently.

what? lvl 43 costs 195428 credits. which is about what it costs for lvl 74 to 75.
Edit: 44 to 49 costs more than 1-43.
