a decent Poggle team

Describe one to me.
I've liked what I've seen from Poggle the Lesser in the Arena so far (his buff man... ouch...) so I'm thinking of making him my next GW acquisition and basing a team around him.

Who would you recommend to accompany the bug fellow? I suppose HK-47 and IG-88 wouldn't be terrible choices, thanks to Poggle's droid synergies but who else?

Out of my current characters the ones I'd plug into the gaps would most likely be Luminara, to heal, and Moff Tarkin... since I love his debuff so much.

Poe, ig 88, and poggle set up is tremendously powerful, add in 2 other high dps aoe characters and you got yourself a very powerful setup that'll leave your enemies in pieces

so far this team can help my brother to climb from 200ish into top 20 now hahaha....

I think the optimal Poggle team would be:

Sid (lead) - crit synergies
Poggle - dmg and droid synergies
IG-88 - crit/ droid synergies
IG-86 - crit/ droid synergies
Poe - fast tank, since your characters are squishy

I think boba as lead is better option. Ig 88 has high crit chance as is.

Boba leader 45% crit dmg
Poggle
Ig 88
Poe
Sid.

Ig 88 is your main hitter. Poe expose, sid dots, which adds crit chance to 88. Poggle buffs. Then 88 unloads. I've seen 88 AoE hit characters for 8k+ in this build.

If you go with this build, I would consider Luke over Sid, unless you want burst AOE hitters.

The only one I don't have is IG-88; I have Sid epic and have been working on my droid / poggle team. What would you sub for IG-88 for crit? I have GEO coming up the ranks.

This is the optimal team! I'm running this team except for Poe who I really really really want to unlock. I

I say: Poggle, Poe, IG-86, IG-88 & Tie Pilot

Luminara works well with that team until Geo or 88 are built up. Geo can get in there relatively early but 88 needs to be at a high star level to live. Luminara can crit for 8k with a poggle boost and her heal does occasionally help.
