As long as you're logged into the Apple Game Center you should be able to. I made the mistake of not logging in first and the customer service is, well, incapable of helping.

Hmmm. I stand corrected. My bad. Thought for sure I have read you can't play the same account on different devices...

Facebook does not save your account data. It is saved via Game Center on iOS and Play Games on Android.
Game can not be linked across OS's. Once on iOS it can not be switched to Android. This is probably the most requested feature and hopefully coming along one day.

You can play on the same brand of devices for ex. iOS and android
So if you have apple products you can play the same again across all of them by going in setting/gamecenter/login you than login to the same account that you have your SWGOH on and you can play on both devices

Log into your game center account (the one on your iPhone) on your iPad. It should work.
