If 7* is a requirement, I'll have to see what the rewards are and decide if I want to drop those kind of credits on Biggs. I have like 19K in GW tokens, so I could easily get him to 7* in 11 days, it's just a matter of if I want to.
Finally confirmed!!! Can't wait to see how good the emperor is! Empire/sixth have needed a good synergy character and it looks like we finally have one.

ROFL! I think I'll be good for the first 3 tiers, maybe could even squeeze out the 4th. So, no, I won't be able to get Palpatine at all. I've been working too hard on Jawas for challenge and next raid, scoundrels for heist (which I finally can beat), and gearing up my arena team. I'm ok with it though. There are too many faction specific events to be able to clear them all, and I've made my choices on what to focus on. Maybe the next time this event comes around I'll be ready.
Looking at the rewards, I think I might go ahead and level up my last rebel. You get almost 3.5 million in rewards, which is enough to cover getting my lvl 61 5* Gear 7, Biggs to seven stars lv 70. I think that will be enough to win the last part with my other Rebels.

This is exactly the same team setup that i will use in the event. I've recorded a short video to show how strong this team is when clearing the Tenacity mod challenge T3 of the last battle with Emperor Palpatine.
So does anyone know if this event will require you to use 5 characters or can you choose to use 4 7*. I thought I was ready but my Han is only 6*. I can take biggs to 7 easily but don't want to as it will wipe me out credit wise.
I'm more ready for this event than for the Yoda one that's for sure.

Gonna focus solely on Biggs and Hoth Scout this week. If I'm lucky all have them both 7* in 11 days.
If not at least I'll have Palpatene at 5* today which is still better than how unprepared I was for the Yoda event. Took me 3 months later until I got Yoda 7* back before they nerfed the event. That green midget 7 tier fight was quite difficult if I remember correctly.
Either way I'm super psyched about today. I've wanted Palpatene for a long time now.
I auto'd entire thing with AA, Leia, HRS, STHan and Luke. Super easy. All of them are completely maxed with speed mods except Luke who is 73/G9. Everyone still had protection except STHan and his health was green. Now on to gearing the Emperor...
