Target level when levelling

When you only want to level a character to a certain point, you have to either sit with a calculator or use trial and error to get to the right level without wasting droids and credit. It'd be good if there was some variant of the assign all feature where you can just select the level you want to go to and it allocates droids in the most efficient combination automatically.

Oooohwee. Or you just throw droids in until you reach your desired level? It seriously takes like 20 seconds to add droids and adjust the amount to where you'd need it.

Droids and credits aren't wasted. Level progress is saved. You can see it in a character's screen, just above the Train button, it shows the toon's level with a small progress bar for XP that is the amount of "over training" if you catch my meaning.

Ooohwee. Exactly. The only way there is any waste is if you are leveling to your max level. If you manually throw in a droid that takes you over the xp for that level, there is some xp and credit waste. But it doesn't sound like that's what he's talking about.

Save up a lot of 1-star training droids and use them to fine tune your levels. The only time you lose xp is when you are leveling up to max and use higher starred training droids only.
