Unused mod mod with a lock symbol

I have an unused 5 dot lvl1 blue mod. Odd part is that it has a blue lock symbol on it. It isnt equipped, its in my list of unused mods. I checked and none of my others have this symbol. Anyone else seen this? Anyone know what its for?

Feel a little silly...but only a little. I now see you can lock and unlock unused mods as well as equipped ones. Apparently so you dont accidently sell a good one?!

Lol don't feel silly, I'm level 75 and am just now finding out what the lock feature is for
