IG88 Lead+Geonosians, WAI?

there was a team made of ig88 lead and all of the geonosians, that some players told it was great, not arena viable but funny team with synergy with geo spy
i've just tried it but spy ain't gaining tm by dots (wich come from ig88's lead), is it wai or broken?
