UNIT NAME: Bo-Katan (Mand’alor)
ALIGNMENT: Light Side

Key Attributes:
  • Deal Massive True Damage with her abilities
  • Call your Light Side Mandalorian allies to assist twice
  • Utilize Ancestral Resolve to strengthen your Light Side Mandalorian allies defenses

Inspiration:
  • We loved how the story of the Mandalorian shifted its focus to share screentime between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan
  • Bo-Katan’s leadership and bringing together all the separate clans of Mandalorian made us want to make the ultimate Light Side Mandalorian leader in her Mand’alor version
  • The Darksaber continues to inflict Armor Shred until the end of battle, no matter who is wielding it in Galaxy of Heroes at the time!

Strategy Tips:
  • For maximum damage, mod Bo-Katan (Mand’alor) to be slower than The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor)
  • Bringing Bo-Katan (Mand’alor) against debuff-heavy teams is the fastest way to gain Ancestral Resolve

ABILITIES:

BASIC: Frontal Assault

Final Text:
Deal Physical and True damage to target enemy, which can't be evaded, and dispel all buffs on them. During Bo-Katan (Mand'alor)'s turn, all Light Side Mandalorian allies gain Speed Up for 2 turns.

SPECIAL 1: Darksaber Flourish (Cooldown 3, Zeta)

Final Text:
Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict Armor Shred until the end of battle. Deal an additional instance of True damage to target enemy, which can't be evaded, and Stun them for 1 turn. If Bo-Katan (Mand'alor) is debuffed, deal True damage an additional time to the target enemy, which can't be evaded. Otherwise, reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1.

SPECIAL 2: Reinforcements Have Arrived (Cooldown 4, Zeta Omicron, Tier 3)

Final Text:
Deal Physical damage to target enemy. Dispel all debuffs from all Light Side Mandalorian allies, call them all to assist twice, dealing 50% less damage, and they all gain 3 stacks of Ancestral Resolve (max 100) until the end of the encounter, which can't be copied, dispelled or prevented.

Ancestral Resolve: +2% Defense and +1% Max Health; whenever this character deals True damage, deal additional True damage based on the number of stacks, which can't be evaded

While in Grand Arenas: Light Side Mandalorian allies gain an additional 2 stacks of Ancestral Resolve. If another Light Side Mandalorian ally wasn't able to assist, they instead gain a bonus turn.

UNIQUE 1: For Mandalore! (Omicron, Tier 1)

Final Text:
True damage Bo-Katan (Mand'alor) deals from Ancestral Resolve is tripled, this damage is then doubled against enemies with bonus Protection.

If all allies were Light Side Mandalorian at the start of battle: Bo-Katan (Mand'alor) takes reduced damage from percent Health damage effects and recovers 50% Health whenever an ally is defeated for the first time (excluding summoned allies). She gains 50% Defense (stacking, max 200%) for each debuff on her, and an additional 200% Defense (stacking) for each other Light Side Mandalorian ally who has not yet been defeated.

While in Grand Arenas: Bo-Katan (Mand'alor) is immune to Daze. If all allies were Light Side Mandalorian at the start of battle: Bo-Katan (Mand'alor) ignores Taunt effects, and whenever an ally is defeated for the first time, she gains 20% of their Max Health and Offense (stacking) until the end of the battle.

LEADER: Way of the Mandalore (Zeta, Omicron, Tier 7)

Final Text:
Light Side Mandalorian allies gain 40% Defense, Max Health and Offense. Light Side Mandalorian allies gain 5% Defense (stacking, max 30%) for each debuff on them. Whenever a Light Side Mandalorian ally deals True damage, dispels a debuff, or resists a debuff, they gain 1 stack of Ancestral Resolve (max 100) until the end of the encounter, which can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented. Whenever an ally attacks an enemy inflicted with Armor Shred, all Light Side Mandalorian Tank allies Taunt for 1 turn (max 2 times per turn).

While in Grand Arenas: Light Side Mandalorian allies gain 50% Mastery, Max Health and 30 Speed. At the start of each encounter, Light Side Mandalorian Tank allies Taunt for 2 turns. If there are other active enemies (excluding summons), the first Light Side Mandalorian ally that is defeated each battle is revived and recovers 50% Health and Protection. Gain 1 additional stack of Ancestral Resolve whenever a Light Side Mandalorian ally deals True damage, dispels a debuff, or resists a debuff.

Love it. Can the character be sat on her throne before she attacks?
  • Options
Agreed, helmet on. But love to see Mandalorian faction getting more representation

Does Bo-Katan gain the bonus from For Mandalore after her first teammate is killed even if they are revived through her Lead?

"If there are other active enemies (excluding summons), the first Light Side Mandalorian ally that is defeated each battle is revived and recovers 50% Health and Protection."
-- Is this supposed to say "if there are other active allies"? Or for example if Bo Katan is solo will she get a revive as long as there's an active enemy?

can we have Starkiller bundle back please

I am so excited for this! Obtaining the requirements for this confrontation has been my main focus in farming since this character was announced! I am looking forward to seeing which light side mandalorian will fill the 5th slot best on her team!

Great kit! Appearance-wise, Bo looks great. Love that she doesn't have her helmet on.

Bane is so muh more exciting. This character needing 4 characters at r7 opposed to r5? Sad

We’re going back to the bbq clones without helmets? C’mon. Especially lore wise she should have her helmet on
  • Options
will this event be permanent avail. or just 4 a short periot of time - like JKCK ?
  • Options
She should have her helmet on and the Darksaber looks a little too big.

The important question though, when are we getting her?

    Only 2% of the time

Seems a waste to put bam and ig12 in this team, 3 of the team are not scoundrels...(assuming the other 2 are the armorer and paz vizla)

Bruh enough with the omicrons. Can you make a character generically good again? Scout trooper was nice but then yall were like “whoops sorry! We forgot to add a ceiling to this guys kit” why are all new characters mid EXCEPT in one specific mode of the game

The lack of interaction with this kit speaks volume. Just shows how much more excited everyone is about Bane and the lack of hype for Bo. Bo is spitting teams up f2p players have used to counter GLs like bam for LV and armorer...... Bane will make SEE viable with the two of them yes, but come on CG. ANd you made it a R7 requirement unlike Aphra and starkiller who only required R5 characters that lifted factions. L character

This ... especially since this character is touted to be in the ballpark of GAS - who doesn't have any "favored game modes".

No Q&A so we can all ask why no scoundrel synergy for BAM's Damage immunity? BAM touch-up?

I think BAM touch-up is very unlikely, otherwise they wouldn't bother making that IG-12 unique that specifically makes him scoundrel when with BAM
