Seems strange that they would post “their” calendar on another website before posting it on “their” own forum...... isn’t that weird?

Not really. It isn’t a partnership then. Once it’s posted here it’s just a thing.

What? That statement makes absolutely no sense.
Where did the person you're replying to mention anything about a partnership?

Yes, yes it is entirely strange that the official forum gets the update after a non-related 3rd party one does.

Not necessarily, they don't put her on the calendar when she is coming back.

No Territory wars or Territory Battles. That seems fishy or incomplete

I am hoping she will be a while before returning. Vet Han just hit 0/100, Vet Chewie 22/85... ugh

BB8 is returning, guess that means Rey is close too. Hope it is by the end of the month, still have 50 Chewie pieces to grab.

They said it would be a maximum of 3 months after the last one right? So her and Luke HAVE to return next month and they have to give us 2 weeks notice.

Ephran you are mistaken. This is from the cadence release post.

    Hero’s Journeys

Similar to Legendaries and Mythics, we have a concept of a New and Legacy Hero’s Journey.
The first two runs of a Hero’s Journey we consider New and will give at least a week’s notice before their launch.
Unlike a Legendary or Mythic, when a Hero’s Journey becomes a Legacy event we will not necessarily post it to the Event Calendar at the beginning of the month. However, the intention is that Hero’s Journey events will return roughly every three to four months after they become a Legacy event and that we will give at least a week’s notice before they return to the game. When we announce the return of the Hero’s Journey event, we will post it on the Event Calendar on the forums.

JTR is a legacy Hero’s Journey. Can be 3-4 months between events and only one week’s notice will be given.

Dang, I thought it was 2-3, not 3-4.

I'd be fine with the end of August for JTR. Vet drop rates are abysmal. Even with the recent double drops. 6 passes nothing.

Not too strange. CG needs to maintain the partnership with clicks to their site. They have likely taken a bath since the release of Marvel Strike Force. That coupled with the alienating of their base with Sith raid and Ship rework is a recipe for desperate measures. Hence the sillyness of posting the calendar elsewhere to force clicks to their site. Same reason the dumb videos were being pushed in game.

the end of last month we saw an outcry due to R2 being early in the month. There was a request to have the calendar out afew days earlier. this is a compromise that they get to do that, and help a site that helps promote the game.

this also allows them to put out the calendar and then fill in the final details that may need to shift as the end of the month closes in.

Interesting. Interesting. So you could say they are PART of a SHIP together. A part ship. Boy I wish there was a better word for that... NEveR going to find one I guess.

Not visiting an external site for the calendar. I'd just as soon wait a few days, or just be surprised. As it is I barely come to the forums anymore anyway.

I suppose the biggest hint is that it's been two months since the last time Rey came around and the event comes around every 3 months or so.
