Well said. I would even go a step Further and say- while being the hardest, (longest?) ultimate to charge - it’s also the weakest.
It's the longest/hardest ultimate to charge. But it's not that weak imo, I think Rey's is weaker. But it doesn't matter, Rey can pull her ultimate off 2-3 times in a battle, JML sometimes will never get his ultimate off.
I can accept his slow path to getting his ultimate if the ultimate was awesome, but its not. It seems like a minor buff to the team, so why even bother trying to get there quickly. And, the fact that he really needs to be in leader slot to even get to his ultimate is lame also. JML is my first GL. I purposefully didn't get Rey or Kylo cause I am old school and don't really like the new movies or those characters. Having said that, I am disappointed in JML kit.
Like how Rey's kit helps the resistance, I was hoping JML would make my crap Jedi Viable - FAIL! It requires the top Jedi you have. The other GL's are not reliant on other Legendary characters to be viable. It would have been great to have a JKR team, JKL team and a JML team, or at least a JKR and JML team. But no.. You just have a JML team that needs JKR and JKL.... And don't get me started with needing GAS!!!! Pathetic. FAIL!
I guess the deva figured that nobody will break up those characters for a Tw or GAC defence and that what you described is an arena problem. And that they will not give 2F’s about.

I just got the ultimate and I don’t really see the issue. Go ahead and use marked, aoe daze and aoe stun, just use the leader ability after the CC is done and you’re good to go. All it takes is 4 turns to get Opening CC done and then you’re free to spam away, It’s not rocket surgery
I think that was an attempt at humor - combining "rocket science" and "brain surgery". But I have heard rocket surgery is a blast.

KAM is a decent idea since he could essentially use Inherited Teachings every turn, but I don’t know who you could replace on that team. Maybe GAS?
