Some guys just have all the luck, i keep finishing it though with only one squad, Barriss (L), QGJ, Lumi, RG, GS with 2 to 3 suicide squad to throw in there if it's really needed. I'm on my 92nd run and i'm 78 closing in to 79 with 30k Arena power (i just had RG and STHan in the mix before it was at 32k) if it really has anything to do with GW.
It sounds more like the problem isn't levels but people are getting to gear 9, 10, 11 with one team so the rest who aren't on that level can't do much. 35k+ power is a lot. 4000 more power than my team that has 3 gear 9s.
Anyone think precrafting and this new raid system that takes forever to get the proper gear was a good idea? Might as well be prepared to buy a lot more furnaces in shipments.

It will get harder. I have over 160 completed GW, level 80 and just broke squad power of 37K. Suddenly my GW is insane.
The point is: GW is beatable most of the time.
But it just takes FOREVER. I can't seem to finish it unter 1h and 30mins.
Retreat, switch toons, retreat, switch targets, retreat...
I usually just quit midway by going full auto and accept my node 8-10 reward.
GW has been a problem since launch, and they don't seem to be able to "fix" it.
Takes me about 45minutes to knock it out one team 2 7* 3 6* Jc Qgc,lum,ben,koth. All gear 9. Lvls 70. Im f2p ive been substituting koth woth Yoda to combat sids heal immunity then you usue old bens ability block to combat anyone tryio heal sid then burn him down rest of the others are easy.
It doesn't matter how deep of a bench. How many "A" teams do u need to complete GW ? 3, 5, 7 ? The goal post keeps changing. You gear to 3 A-team, then you will need 4 A-teams to complete GW. You gear to 4 A-teams, you will need 5 to complete. Besides, we don't even know what's the complete roster squads you'll face. The AI/(RNG, please, there is NOTHING random here!) simply wears your 5 A-teams down. If the first (Dooku, Kylo, Sid, Yoda, Vader) squad doesn't get your A-teams, then a series of "similar" squads will guarantee to wear you down. Each such squad "fresh", fully purple, fully geared while you A-team(s) have been blown to smithereens.
If this is truly "fair", we should be able to see what's the entire roster squads before the battle so at least there is a chance of "game planning" and damages "persists" for the AI just like damages persist for our squads. And for &^%$ sake, stop calling it RNG!

So consider the squad you need to beat the AI is (St-H, RG, Phasma, two high DPS toons). Even if u manage to gear St-H and RG to 7*, gear 9, etc, **** HOW MANY **** St-H and RG do you have in your platoon ?

While you only have one ST-H and on RG, the CG can keep throwing 7*, level 70+ squads at you until your two super-tanks are beaten to submission.
So my question for you Timi! How many A-teams do you need ?
Again, in case you refuse to see it as completely broken, this is a case of "betting against the casinos!" We're the dumb &^%$ w/our measly pennies (limited squads b/c it cost time and money to gear) while the casinos can keep throwing endless, limitless supply of A-teams at your puny squads. I'm level 77 and using a 32k arena squad and for today's GW, they threw level 78's and 79's at me. Leia and RG with Lumi and Ventress as support is a tough combo to beat. I must have been down to my "D" team of sub-level 70 toons by the time I finished GW.
This is the downside to buying furnaces and being OP in Arena and Raids. I don't feel bad for you, i gotta say. And you can still finish it so...

I am not salty at all. It's good that there is a downside to buying whatever gear you want, it's bad it's only this small of an issue.
I dunno if we're reading the same thread but seems to me like this "small" issue is seriously annoying, as in making the game a lot more frustrating than enjoyable, a whole bunch of people.
Haha. This is a serious question tho. From what i heard, most don't even bother with GW. Might be wrong, can't deny that. I don't mean to attack whales but it seems like i do in every post i make after i read it too. If it's so easy to do, then there is something wrong here.

Are you 100% sure about that cause I've tried and gotten easier GW runs when I had weaker Arena squad in.

I've "won" every single gw within the past three weeks, lvl 78, arena power 31,5 k. But... I really really dislike it. It feels like working, not playing a game, no fun involved.
I have to do the gw if I want to advance in the game, I'm not ftp anymore, but not a big whale either, the gw is still the main source of credits for me.
I do enjoy raiding, I do enjoy the arena, the events too, and sometimes even autoing the challenges. One or two fights now an then, back to work, a few fights more, going out with the dog, playing again... planing, what char to upgrade next and so on.
But everytime I restart the gw it feels like "now I have to work for at least an hour" to finish it, even if my rooster is ok for it and I can win it, and even if I can do a break inbetween.
Overall it has become way to much time consuming for me. My wish would be to cut the number of the battels, 3 tough fights would be enough, multiply the rewards and I would be fine.

Bingo ... the AI/policy is completely broken. It's the dumb-dumb way of creating meta squads, i.e., throw the kitchen sink at the problem instead of creating a fairer, less frustrating, enjoyable environment b/c
1) it takes frikkin forever to complete GW, if you can even complete it. Who the ^%$@ has that kind of time to do GW for an hour ? Seriously ...
2) gearing up your squads to only see the bar raise again BEFORE u even have a chance to use your "JUST GEARED UP" squad is an exercise in frustration, i.e., moving the goal posts.
3) FIX the **** "policy" in creating AI meta squads.
