My History with Furnaces I seen two purchased one ever regretfully, thinking I would see another really soon. months passed, Religiously checking shipments ever reset. I dont refresh. Read this post thought hell I will try a refresh its been months ,The time was an hour after daily reset and low and behold a furnace out of nowhere .... strange forces at play here.
In the same boat, no furnaces yet at all. My poor Han is getting bullied by his gear 9 squad buddies. There's talk of him and qui gon starting a support group
Hope springs eternal, yes. My luck with Furnaces has been extraordinary, admittedly - I bought 6 of them and got a 7th free from a Tier 6 raid - but I haven't seen one in over a week. Still, it's been less than a month (just a bit over three weeks since the update that brought them into the store), so I can only counsel patience.
I've had them pop up a few times. The last time one appeared, I went against my pledge to remain FtP completely and let Luminara have it. Phasma's having the next one because it's a breeze to bring her to G10.
I'm not in a rush to gear up the others because I only really aim for Top 50 in arena by payout and my top toons tend to cope fairly easily in PVP and GW. It's those Hard Campaign missions which crush me.
So seriously is there something wrong with the code that some people don't get them? Lots of people shouldn't have 7 show up while some of us haven't had any EVER show up.

So I quit using 100 Crystal refreshes and just buy gear in the shipments. I think that the drop rate for each piece is he same. I had to wait a week for a mk2 Bactin gel to show up. Stun guns went 4 days before the salvage showed up, I turn down furnaces regularly.
I'm lazy and don't feel like tracking but I don't think furnaces are more rare than any other piece of shipment gear.
I've been keeping tabs on the crystal-purchasable gear in shipments for a while now (in order to try and get an idea of how often Furnaces show up). I also keep track of the crystal costs for each gear piece, so you're welcome to use my data to figure out which gear pieces you want to save for.
