The thread was specifically about Anakin. You derailed it by attempting to convince everyone how good Jedi in general are. You've also attempted to sell someone on Anakin despite not even using him on your all Jedi team.....

It's not reaching to call you out on terrible advice when you don't have him at a level capable of competing to draw experience from. Your reply should be more than enough evidence for the op to disregard your "advice".
- G11 7* Anakin basic hits for around 3.8k - 4k, 6k on a crit. Without QGJ, he is not independently fast enough to warrant such a low damage range.
- His debuff is not reliable. Even with an omega basic he only has a 55% chance to apply it, and that is not taking potency v tenacity into account.
- His high hp is offset by the easy of controlling him as a Jedi
- His unique requires allies to die before taking effect and isn't game changing enough to warrant any strategy surrounding it
- His special is weak and requires too much setup to gain a party wide buff. There are much easier means of obtaining offense up.
No, Anakin is not good. Hopefully that changes in the future.
Anakin was part of my clone team, as well as the leader of my Jedi squad before the combat tuning. He is definitely weaker than before.
His Unique:
Prior to the combat tuning, Anakin could attack for 4-6k after a teammate is defeated. That was a significant amount of damage during that time because most characters have around 13k health. Now with the introduction of protection, each character, on average, has over 20k hp (Some have a lot more than that). That single attack with offense up after a teammate died is now less relevant and doesn't bring any significant impact to the match.
His Leader Ability:
I found his leader ability to be very useful prior to the combat tuning. The extra damage for Jedi is a good tradeoff for speed. Then again, protection makes this ability meaningless. 26% increase in offense is not relevant when characters get 60%-100% increase in health.
His abilities are outdated and need to be reviewed.
He has decent utility with his debuffs, he gets them off pretty often with his high speed, but he has really low damage, even for a Jedi. A little lower than qgj, a lot lower that lumi, and his Aoe is useless. I'm still fond of him, heal immunity is very helpful, but if you're looking for a heavy hitter don't bother with him
