Look, boil it all down, and CG made 4 star characters easily farmable and 1 star characters unfarmable. It makes zero sense. Why even have a 1 star character if you can't farm them?
Here is one way to balance this game:
Revamp your convoluted currency system and give us the chance to farm whomever we want. The difference between say, Kylo and Ewok Scout being the total cost.
Then you actually have to make tough decisions.
Their current method makes your decision for you. "Here are the characters you can farm. Here are the characters you can't. You get to pick whomever you want! Look at all these fun decisions you get to make. Isn't this game super in-depth and strategically diverse?!"
No. No it's not.
