It'd be cool if you fix the game properly so we could read the abilities in game fully...

I just posted a similar topic. I think we need clarification on how the move force drain works. If it cannot increase specials beyond their set cooldown timers, then I think it should be balanced. If a move has a 3 turn cooldown and he can increase it to 4, that would not be good for the health of the game

I dont know why are you complaining about his lnsta Kill, Biggs Darklighter (a rebel scum, a mere guy with a blaster) has an lnsta Kill too and its called "Comrade in Arms" that's truly broken and it has a TWO TURNS COOLDOWN, Nihilus's skill has a long cooldown to be fair.

Insta kill ability. Very balanced. No power creep here lol.

That 8 turn CD will drop so fast, and then you lose.

Nihilus is a must have toon. And speed mods are even more important than before.

He's only overpowered if he's not that way in the place he comes from. Like Leia shooting you three times or even 6 times in a row while cloaked. That version of leia is based of A New Hope version. So she totally OP. In the movie 1 kill and the captured.

Or Fives counter ability. Ive had Fives kill my entire Jedi Team (main team), without even actually attacking. Just countering. On many occasions.

u got a trash jedi team.

Nihilus' base speed is 100, not sure what that means as far as gear and modding potential.

    Nihilus:
    • Ceaseless Craving (Basic) - Deal Special damage to target enemy and Dispel all buffs on them. If any buffs were dispelled, reduce the cooldown of Drain Force by 1
    • Drain Force (Special - 4 Cooldown) - Deal Special damage to all enemies with a 50% chance (doubled against debuffed enemies) to increase their cooldowns by 1. For each cooldown increased, reduce the cooldown of Annihilate by 1.
    • Annihilate (Special - 8 Cooldown) - Instantly defeat target enemy. Nihilus gains Max Health equal to the target's Max Health. The defeated target can't be Revived. This ability can't be Evaded and starts on cooldown.
    • Lord of Hunger (Leader) - Sith allies gain 60% Offense and 150% Health Steal. Sith allies lose all Protection and gain that much Max Health. Sith allies are immune to Healing effects that aren't Health Steal and can't score Critical Hits
    • Wound in the Force (Unique) - At the start of each of his turns, Nihilus inflicts Damage Over Time for 2 turns on a random enemy that doesn't have any debuffs. If all enemies are debuffed, inflict Damage Over Time on a random enemy. At the start of each enemy turn, Nihilus inflicts Health Down on them for 2 turns.
    Sith Trooper
    • Disruptor Blast (Basic) - Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 70% chance to inflict Defense Down for 3 turns. If the target was already debuffed, ignore their Protection.
    • Crimson Barrage - (Special - 3 Cooldown) - Deal Physical damage to all enemies with a 70% chance to inflict Offense Down for 2 turns. Then gain Protection Up equal to 5% for each debuffed enemy for 2 turns. This attack ignores Protection.
    • Vaiken's Legacy - (Unique) - Sith Trooper has +100% Defense. Whenever a Sith ally uses a Special ability or falls below 50% Health, Sith Trooper gains Defense Up for 2 turns. If he already had Defense Up, he gains Taunt for 2 turns. If he already had Taunt, he gains Retribution for 2 turns. Sith Trooper gains Defense Up for 2 turns at the start of each encounter.
    Sith Assassin
    • Exploit Weakness (Basic) - Deal Physical damage to target enemy, inflict Evasion Down for 2 turns, and gain Offense Up for 2 turns. If the target was already debuffed, gain Stealth for 2 turns. If Sith Assassin already had Stealth, ignore the target's Protection.
    • Dark Shroud (Special - 4 Cooldown) - Dispel all debuffs from Sith Assassin and gain Stealth and Foresight for 2 turns. If she already had Stealth, gain Speed Up and Tenacity Up for 2 turns. Sith allies gain 12% Turn Meter for each buff on her.
    • Electrocute (Special - 4 Cooldown) - Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict Stun for 1 turn. If Sith Assassin already had Stealth, Dispel all buffs from Sith Assassin, deal 5% more damage for each effect dispelled and each living Sith ally, and ignore the target's Protection.

What's wild is that my team (Wiggs - Chaze - Fac) has eight specials to cool down. Meaning that if my squad is debuffed á la TFP/B2, Nihilus can using his first special, then immediately kill Baze on his second turn. And that's with the skills at level one; who knows what the upgrades will do?

His leader says Sith "can't score critical hits," not avoid them. So, your Sith will be hitting like wet noodles.

Those moves have been upgraded. At least beyond their default effects

It is not an insta kill and it is heavily reliant on having wedge and one other living ally. Nihilus can truly insta kill a fully maxed, perfectly modded, full health and protection tank and he could potentially do it on his second turn depending on the game mechanics.

Dude your team is super try hard, so cheap and dirty, the most thirsty team that l have ever heard of.

I dont think annihilate is overpowered. 150% health steal for sith on the other hand...

Yeah. he datamined the maxed abilities

His leader says Sith "can't score critical hits," not avoid them. So, your Sith will be hitting like wet noodles.

This will be good against Barris zetas, GK, zeta Maul (maybe not as much for maul)
But those toons require critical hits for them to be useful, so I think having that will definitely help fight against them especially with +70% lifesteal (probably more after leveling) and that health boost.

We've always made jokes that the power creep is so bad that eventually this game is going to turn into characters literally having the option to insta kill anybody. Who in their right mind played this game and thought "no, crazy damage isn't enough, tanks can survive that, let's create an insta kill character". With darth nihilus it's here so grab all the speed mods possible and make it a 4v5 and just hope that this game doesn't release any more insta kill attacks, then it really will be SWGoSS: Star Wars Galaxy of speed secondaries because I'm calling it right now some time late this year we will have a new too that AoE insta kills, it will be alright though because will be reletively squishy.

again, if nihilus can't increase cooldowns of moves that haven't been used, and he cannot increase cooldowns beyond their max, then the timing of his force drain will be very difficult and he will likely only reduce his CD for annihilate by 1-5 so it will still take 3+ turns to use that move.
