I’ve tried over 30 battles with Bossk Zeta and it’s suppose to trigger a taunt for him for 1 turn if the weakest enemy has protection.
I have not have the passive taunt go off ONCE. What am I doing wrong? Who is considered the weakest enemy? Did I just waste a Zeta on Bossk for his unique?

what happens if they all still got protection?
Million dollar question lol and it doesn’t explain if it’s only have Bossk either loses after 3 turns OR has it cleansed or both. Assuming it’s either. But even after the taunt goes away he never ever picks it back up.
Getting him to taunt is like seeing a unicorn apparently
If it is like Old Ben it’s like a one shot thing with him since his requirement is the weakest enemy needs to have protection. Old Ben at least is GUARANTEED a taunt after his expires.
I thought it worked a little differently but apparently it’s not too good of a Zeta.
Weakest is the combination of both, from what we see with his leader contract.
Best test would be if everyone had protection....pretty hard to maintain that for a number of turns to test this out. Because you need it yo be dispelled or expire in 3 turns.
Because the game is more than arena and should be fun to play?
I agree, but the problem I have is the top arena teams are just as good or better at PvE than the bounty hunters.
They are fun, they do good in PvE, but they were marketed as PvE specialists yet are no better than top arena teams who can do both.
Bounty Hunters need to be stronger in raids to be a truly viable PvE specialist faction.
But there are places where you need extra teams that are good at pve where you cant or have already used your arena teams.
Top arena teams won't get you Wampa or Probe Droid shards. Top arena teams won't get you Special Mission guild event tokens. Top arena teams won't get you Rebel Round Up rewards. Top arena teams won't do heists--but, to be fair, you can use any scoundrel for those, and they're not that hard in the first place; though it's still true.
But, most importantly, you have to keep in mind that most players aren't in our shoes. It's the Phoenix Squad conundrum again--We already have the characters to make the strong top-tier teams, so when Phoenix Squad was added we had no reason to farm them. But new players who farm Phoenix Squad when they start have a massive advantage than we did when we were their age.
It's a lot easier for a new player to make a Bounty Hunter team (after all, it's just arena tokens for three of them, guild tokens for Dengar, and Cad Bane's an easy farm) than it is for them to make something with General Kenobi or Darth Nihilus.
Too many things have to go right for Bossk to get the taunt to go off.
I think Bossk kit is awesome actually. I just this the taunt Zeta is worthless now. And the problem is you have one shot of making it work if everything falls perfectly into place.
I agree with you. I think the kits are good. I am just saying his one Zeta doesn’t work effectively. It’s my fault for Zetaing sure. I didn’t know how underwhelming a Zeta could be because I have not gotten his passive taunt off ONCE still.
If it worked like Old Bens then yes, but you will have to get a toon weak, hope they recover protection, hope they are now the weakest and then hope he loses taunt while the above scenario doesn’t change at all in the match. Kinda silly if you ask me.
I have 7* Wampa and my BHs suck. So it appears you can get all that stuff without BHs.
Have you run a good BH squad through the STR yet?.... They are deadly, and different leads can be used for different phases.....
Agreed I am not saying BH will replace RJT or EP teams. Rather the game is more than Arena and BH are useful for TW. Keep in mind your Meta teams will likely be used on defense. So who do you use for your offense?
But that’s not the point of the entire thread whether BH are valuable or not. It’s rather off track. The point of the thread is the Zeta for Bossk’s “Trandoshan Rage” isn’t effective or it doesn’t work. It’s a useless Zeta that needs fixed. Or people get their Zeta back.
If all enemies never lost protection, wouldn't the weakest one have protection by default?
The mechanics simply check the 'Lowest Survivability' toon and then check to see if that toon also has a non-zero 'Shield %'. So if everyone has all of their protection, one of the 5 enemies will be the weakest, and they will still have protection so the taunt will re-apply if it's stripped immediately.
I agree they made put to many variables into gaining taunt again. Sometimes I wonder what they are thinking with this stuff.
I feel they robbed Bossk and Greedo with their zeta's
Again it’s very circumstantial. I had it happen finally today in GW to try it out and it only worked when I did the taunt and then Assaj dispelled.
Later in a battle where that scenario is highly unlikely to happen is kinda dumb. It may have a quick chance at the start of the match but it is otherwise lost. A better lead would be “whenever Bossk loses taunt or the weakest enemy gains protection he gains taunt for 1 turn. He cannot gain taunt if he already gained taunt this way the previous turn.” That would be epic.
I believe it's designed to protect the BH at the start of the battle so that they are able to achieve the payout. It's stopping quick dispels from totally crushing the rest of the squishier BH's.
