I don't know if you know this, but a game that's free requires players to spend money, so devs can make money in order to keep making the game better. So yes, it could quite possibly be something to get us to spend money...

If it is palpatine, then I hope to god that it doesn't require exclusively sith characters in order to complete it... Cause there's probably less than 10% of the entire player base that actually have 5 7* sixth considering Vader is almost out of the question for about 99% of players, and the only other sith that is any good is dooku

My money is on an event, like the Yoda one, to get Emperor Palpatine using either a Sith/empire team or using Rebels. At least that is what i hope the tease is about
