Galactic War Shipments - temp refresh cost change now live

Hey Everyone,

The Galactic War Shipments have temporarily had their refresh cost reverted to costing War Tokens. This will last one week until February 8th, when it will be changed back to costing Crystals.

Please note that in order to see this change you will need to restart your game.

Jesse, its not working right. After a few refreshes it's saying I have insufficient currency. Clearly I have enough currency.

To everyone who is reporting that they can't refresh when they clearly have enough War Tokens, there is a bug we found that is causing this. The game is looking at your available Crystals when trying to determine if you have enough for a refresh, not your War Tokens.

This will reset each day and go back down to 10 War Tokens for the initial refresh, and then increase after each one.

Could you explain why it is being reverted back to crystals after a week

Most people seem to like that GW refreshments only need 10 war tokens

I understand but I think you guys would get a more positive reponse if you changed cantina and arena instead of GW

Like allowing Arena and Cantina refreshments to cost 10 arena tokens and 10 cantina currency

Crystals is what gives money to CG-EA. And I do not mean it in a bad way. Yo have 6-hour refresh for free and you need to expend crystals to get more.

Honestly, I think it is a good balance for f2p vs p2p : you have free stuff, you have more if you pay.

It is cool that you are giving the community a week to clear up accts., but IMHO the complaint is that you are taking away more than you are adding. You have conditioned people, to a certain expectation and now you are eliminating that. I get that you need this to bring in rev. to support the commitment you have an do make a profit. God Bless you for that, but you can't offer X in the beginning and start cutting it back to a lower Y, over and over and over w/o some sort of backlash.

But you already know this, dont' ya? BTW. I love the app. just hope you don't ruin it by focusing on the bottom line now that it is established in growing.

Are you implying this character would be worth saving shards for? Don't expect an answer... just wanted to start the hysteria.

Shop would today revert (or about to revert) to needing Crystals for refresh. We all placed our bets by now. Good luck.

PS: I decided for low risk and used up all Credit there to acquire Phasma 6.8 stars. Hope I am not torn to see Yoda appearing there.

I did this to avoid spending 10,000 in refreshes in GW shipments (50, 50, 100, 100 per day for a month)....
