Really can't see this game lasting. Grind to 60, grind to 70. Play against pure terrible Ai. Never any interactions with other players.
Game is more like one of those star wars sticker books. Where u had to buy sticker packs (+ a peice of terrible gum)to fill your star wars sticker book. COLLECT THEM ALL!
Yawn

I'm not even mad, I'm just kind of bummed. I am so turned off by the concept of Poe that I refused to farm him. I still want to perform well though, so if I want to do that I guess I have to do what I'm being told. I don't feel like I'm playing a "build your own team" game anymore... just following a meta to stay afloat.
Anyone else feeling like this might be what puts them over the edge, or am I the only one?
Unless you farm Poe up to 7* you don't have a chance of being in the top 100 in a developed server.
If you only play this casually I'd say put the game down until Poe is nerfed.
I get a kick out of just experimenting and trying to beat the meta. Try it out and just don't stress about the top 10.
That ^
You have to have him otherwise you're going to be attacked so many times, you're going to take forever to climb up. As soon as team visibility is online, non Poe teams beware.
I never got to play with "Star Wars sticker books", you got gum?
What kind?
Yup. I, too, was underwhelmed. More of the same grind in a slightly different package. Oh boy. Same boring combat for more shards so I can do more of the same boring combat. Yawn. Ill wait till I see the gameplay to see if it is the snooze fest I fear it will be. With half my money refunded I can then delete this boring grind.
It had such potential, too. Live and learn I guess. I'm enjoying Uprising more. Grindy in places, crashy at times, but lots more variety and teaming up. They get my money now.....
Wow.. That sounds neat, when you think about it each person in this game is like one of those sticker books. You get to collect "equipment stickers" and put them in the right slot in order to complete that toon.
I see why you like this game.
It is a shame there is no gum though.
With the end result is that you need to get the same toons as everyone lacks creativity. I'm slowly trying to get a droid team together but it's a slow road.
The game isn't catering for low to mid budgets as packs are way too random. It's spend big or it's just not worth it.
I'm hoping for new content and a lot of the fodder characters to become valid... Tusken raider, imperial guard, ugnaught... I'm looking at you!
Doubt anyone will miss you if you quit. You are neither a bigspender nor a constructive member of the community.
Your right I didnt spend a lot of money on a phone game. If I spent what someone spent to get 7 * chrome exclusives i wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror. There is no community. Poorly organized forum is not a community. This place is a whine fest and filled with fanboy zealots who think any criticism is blasphemy. The game is obviously lacking. There is no In game chat, no organized or even live pvp, no coop play. It's pretty much a single player experience. Reddit swgoh was closest thing this game has to a community and probably why devs communicate there more. But you are also right, no one will miss anyone since it's a single player game. Have fun making useless polls, guess that your big contribution.
Live PvP would be cool, but I haven't played many mobile games where live PvP works out as well as you would want it to. I expect to see things like live co-op, or guild systems where you contribute to a community by strengthening your guild and showing your worth, while allowing you to chat with other guild members as well as general players in realish-time, as opposed to needing the forums for an outlet. I feel both of these things will come soon. Many of the successful mobile games I have played don't introduce all of the above mentioned features from release. They usually establish a baseline for game play and then introduce the new features over time.
As long as it doesn't come in a pack of stickers.
May want to rethink or rephrase that. I'm 100% sure it would be more appreciated if it had gum and original Star Wars stickers.
I agree with Zerks a lack of stickers is a deal breaker.. Gum is kind of optional because I suspect the gum could cause stains on the stickers.
I think they could safely give us both safely, this *is* the interweb age.
Is the gum in a wrapper? To prevent it from harming the condition of the stickers? If so, then I retract my previous statement.
@Jaqen_Hghar Got it. You meant you didn't want the gum ruining your stickers...it read like you didn't want the stickers. Tomato Tomato. Carry on.
p.s. oh and no, it wasn't in a wrapper. It was simpler times though and we didn't care about inconvenient things the way people obsess on them now.
No ones stopping you I hope:D
Thank you for bringing such objectivity and clarity to the forum.
