Why? Because im not sitting in the comfort zone and not letting them do what most of the people dont want them to do? Did you ever get a raise in your job or are you always a slave that follows?
Yoda is still very Viable. I still run my same F2P fell Jedi team and can still take top ranks after the update. To be honest it's actually gotten easier.
I run QGJ lead, Ahsoka, Yoda, Lum, Eeth
I ran a similar team but instead of Eeth was Dooku. Before the update my 7* Yoda was a beast. After the update he just does not cut it. I'm not using him anymore. I defeated a few teams with Yoda and I noticed his defense was terrible, easy target. So, I figured out the same thing happened with mine after the update.
It's nice to hear someone else's perspective on it from their experience. I actually found he kept is protection bar the longest because he attacks so much with his basic now he more often than not had foresight on him. Maybe my opinion will change over time but based off of the 10 Arena battles yesterday with Protection this is what I found to occur. Maybe if you give him another go things might run out better for you, if not i'm sorry to hear he has been moved to the bench for you.

I don't use yoda, but he is quite a nuisance to my team, the meta of dooku and qgj i can easily deal with now, but yoda keeps stealing my offense up and speed up off of IG88/poggle then giving it to the rest of the team, yesterday i was facing a yoda team and they all had 7 buffs each...

Back to the OP. I fully intend on keeping a closer eye on Yoda today, as I am concerned that he was over-nerfed.
The issue with nerfing Yoda is that it is not like nerfing any other hero or even team. Yoda is an icon character and one that many have earned by leveling up an entire team of heroes to get.
Over nerfing Yoda would be worse than the Barris debacle or the Poe incident. But again, not confirming an "over-nerf" yet...just concerned.

My experience with Yoda in arena and GW after the update is that his damage is a little less, but he takes a very long time to kill, is very useful at preventing damage to my team when he spreads foresight and is great for timely stuns or turn meter reductions. He seems a little more "balanced" now. Before he could do all of those things and great damage. Now he does all of those things and just does "good" damage. When you consider his speed and utility, I don't think he was overnerfed. I am glad they opted to take away some damage rather than utility/survivablity. QGJ is awfully squishy now. Yoda isn't.

Yeah QGJ is, i was fortunate to pre-graft one item. As soon as i hit 74 it's going to QGJ as his squishyness appears to be the weakest point of my squad
So let me get this straight. The announcement that you could get yoda through a special event was very exciting. So because I wanted yoda so bad I stopped what I was doing to farm 5 7* jedis. I put all my resources into it, spent money on crystals for refreshes and when the second yoda event came around I was ready with 5 7* jedi. I spent 5 straight hours battling yoda and finally luck was on my side and I got my 7* yoda. I was so excited. He was a good toon worthy of a top tier rating. THEN HE GOT THE NERF HAMMER! now he is a mediocre toon and has been benched. All the time money and effort I put into getting him and he gets turned into a worthless toon. Well, lesson learned on my part. I will not make that same mistake again. Not another penny from me will be spent on this game!

People don't go to internet forums to praise... So, my estimate is that about 7.3% of actual players don't like the update. Prove me wrong.

"My experience with Yoda in arena and GW after the update is that his damage is a little less, but he takes a very long time to kill, is very useful at preventing damage to my team when he spreads foresight and is great for timely stuns or turn meter reductions. He seems a little more "balanced" now. Before he could do all of those things and great damage. Now he does all of those things and just does "good" damage. When you consider his speed and utility, I don't think he was overnerfed. I am glad they opted to take away some damage rather than utility/survivablity. QGJ is awfully squishy now. Yoda isn't."

You better should, because you know, you wouldnt go into a forum and vote for a game if you didnt invest a little time and/or money.

This thread doesnt make sense and only disturbes the developers if they have to read through discussions where actually nothing is being discussed but you all say the same things.
I use Yoda mostly for GW and sub him in and out depending on the team I am facing. The biggest challenge I have had in the past is with cool down management, as I prefer to have BM ready to go at the beginning of a battle, and would sometimes have to leave him in for an extra battle to work his cool downs. With the battles taking an extra couple of turns today, I found it a lot easier to manage that aspect. Although he hits a little softer now, I use him for his other abilities that he brings and did not notice any significant reduction in his performance under the new balance.

You forget that he gave a detailed explanation as to why they made the changes and simply asked that we all give it a bit of playing time before we submit our feedback. Oh and don't forget at multiple points he thanks, welcome and encourages our feedback as it does impact what they do with the game.

It's nice to hear someone else's perspective on it from their experience. I actually found he kept is protection bar the longest because he attacks so much with his basic now he more often than not had foresight on him. Maybe my opinion will change over time but based off of the 10 Arena battles yesterday with Protection this is what I found to occur. Maybe if you give him another go things might run out better for you, if not i'm sorry to hear he has been moved to the bench for you.

Back to the OP. I fully intend on keeping a closer eye on Yoda today, as I am concerned that he was over-nerfed.
The issue with nerfing Yoda is that it is not like nerfing any other hero or even team. Yoda is an icon character and one that many have earned by leveling up an entire team of heroes to get.
Over nerfing Yoda would be worse than the Barris debacle or the Poe incident. But again, not confirming an "over-nerf" yet...just concerned.

Yeah QGJ is, i was fortunate to pre-graft one item. As soon as i hit 74 it's going to QGJ as his squishyness appears to be the weakest point of my squad
