Now back in December I did spend some money one drunk night on this game, it was a waste, never again, I still have a guilty conscience about it, and my wife still won't let it go, and no it wasn't a lot but it was stupid, as for many 7* characters, pick who like and farm them everyday for half a year almost, farm shards and not the equipment so much, the higher level the better the gear, so don't focus on the hard to get items because they eventually get easier later and prebuild if you can because recipes change but the items stay the same

After a certain point its just time and luck. Occassionally you get a break with bronzium packs, (I currently have 140 daka pieces but I'm waiting till she can be 6 star before buying just incase I get one from bronzium packs). Anyways, you sir are approved.

one huge downside to being F2P is that I can never compete with the big spenders on my server. I've spent $0 and some people have spent thousands to max out their leias and their mauls... It makes me sad knowing that I can't compete with that. Oh wait... Never mind cause I just collected 500 crystals for finishing #1 in arena! Hope all the P2P players know that they wasted their money!
For clarification the guy at #4 (level 77-has to be a whale) was number one until I beat him
Don't hop from one character to another. Pick one toon you need from each of the different farming avenues, (War shipments, arena shipments, cantina battles, cantina shipments, and a few hard nodes) and don't stop farming that one toon until it's 7*. Then pick another and repeat. You can 7* a toon from war shipments every 22 days if you finish every day. With a decent rank you can max one from arena every 33 days.
Also, NEVER EVER EVER spend crystals on chromium packs. You end up with tons of 4* toons you'll never max out without mortgaging your house. One cantina energy refresh a day is the best use of crystals there is. I've been at that for nearly 4 months. Now I have more 7* toons than I have credits to level/gear/promote them. (Stupid level cap increase)

That same frustrating combo of Dooku/Rey/RG dominates my server too. I finally beat them out for #1 once, but it takes a lot of RNG going my way. The team in the middle is too easy though.
