Guy in our guild said he did the tier 3 3x, got over 1 mil in total rewards. Not sure I believe him, but I have refreshed once and the rewards were terrible for me.

1 shard worth 50gems in at least shipment price, assume you got 3shard that 150 gem worth.
35k credits worth 40gems, compared to credit pack 85gem=68k credit.

I think, unless EA confirms that this was a mistake and compensates us for our crystals, this is outright fraud. They advertised one thing, and gave us something vastly different. I wasn't expecting the full reward, but more than $35,000, three JC shards, and three blue mats. I would have NEVER spent crystals if I knew that was the reward I would get.
If they do give compensation, I would rather get what they offered as the mas reward, not crystals. I just want what I thought I was getting. Unfortunately, I bought two refreshes before I learned my lesson.

The food reference is dumb, the correct wording would have been "possible food you may receive " because the only way you see those rewards is by clicking POSSIBLE rewards. The fact that you people think you are entitled to everything in that screen and completely discounting or just ignoring the word possible is insane. This isn't like ordering food, it's like playing the lottery.

I wasted 3 refreshes of 75 crystals on the top tier to get around 20K credits each refresh. Please explain this better in the future. I could have used those crystals for better purposed especially since I'm F2P.

I call **** on this being a display "glitch" that is getting way to much use and people are just accepting that overused excuse. Flat out misrepresentation to get us to spend crystals.
It is interesting that such obvious visual bugs are allowed to persist for weeks, maybe months. A bug that would show up in the studio itself - wonder why it doesn't get fixed? Not enough staff? O.o isn't this supposed to be a AAA game? I'm really starting to wonder about all these bugs.

This isnt accurate in this case though. Maybe for the 21 shards, but how do you get 8 ability mats? More important, I have received 5/5 ability mats so for that one at least, you can get 5. Also I tried to do credits with this theory, and it doesnt fit. Maybe it is a sum of the tiers, but not always and the tiers arnt equal in some cases. This makes it VERY hard to know what you are actually paying for.
they really should give an accurate description of what you COULD get. If you tell me for example that for my 75 crystals I MAY get: 1-2.04million credits and/or 1-21 shards of insert random character here I at least know what i'm facing and decide if its worth the investment. Just saying what the SUPPOSED top possible reward is leads me to believe I will at least get something for my investment but i'm seriously doubting that its ACTUALLY possible to pull these rewards. Looking a lot more like straight out dishonest advertising to tempt you to spend crystals/money.
But hey that's fine I can resist the urge to give EA my money if all I am going to get is these Casino cash grab mechanics. from here on out the only way you get my hard earned money is if you say: hey give us $100 and you get this here "insert character here" 7* character OR give us $10 and you get 20,000,000 credits. I'm done with random for money, its bad enough that RNG from raids has continued to screw me over and keep my characters progression locked because I keep getting reward items that I can GRIND FOR IN GAME at my leisure. The only RAID EXCLUSIVE drops i'm getting are furnaces, guess what not all characters require furnaces but its RNG so there is no way to progress many of my characters because the RNG gods decide I only get furnace salvage pieces when they decide I deserve more then the gear I can already grind for myself. Introduction of raids as the gear progression lock down has just frustrated the hell out of me.

It's usually the case with every game. Bugs like that are harmless (arguably, but they don't directly impact gameplay)
Working on an online game is a very stressful environment, and requires a lot of prioritizing. There's often not enough resources/time to do all the things the managers want to.

Spent 350 crystals on it! I expected the chance of 21 shards and 2M coins.
If the rewards says 21 shards please do it or say the truth. Im waiting a compensation.
I didn't spend that much but yes indeed I was kinda expecting the possibility of 2Mill since the description clearly says "possible rewards". I would love to be compensated but I doubt that will happen. At the very least these devs need to learn how to code simple text and stop putting incorrect descriptions for events, abilities, etc. I doubt that will happen also lol.
If it's a known bug on rewards description they should have fixed it before releasing a new event or updated the text in the description to clarify base rewards. Just because the fault has occurred before doesn't excuse poor information this time. It should have meant they gave better information this time
