I'd like to join. I'm Level 70, no one maxed out or anything. I spend some money, but wifey frowns upon that. I play daily, run through all my energy and make it so that I can't do anything more for the day, even after spending some crystals to add more opportunity. I really enjoy the game. And, my first name is Luke so I've got the whole "Luke, I am your father" crap my entire life (I'm 40, so I was born before SW came out).

Sorry, I phrased that poorly. I was meaning more in the sense that they would drop under-performing members to ensure they hit the maximum reward tier each day. In a guild like this one the high quotas may be beneficial. It means that everyone in the guild can contribute as much as they want toward the daily task (earning personal bonuses as I understand it), rather than most of the guild waking up to find them already finished by the more aggressive guild mates.

We can hold off doing GW on Monday and do two on Tuesday to ensure we get the top tier since some will not finish. We can also try to strategize farming on certain days for example using all our energy to farm nodes only on the associated LS/DS days and even skipping gear on hard node day. The little things will allow us to achieve greater tiers. Also another approach I am taking is to not do as many energy refills as usual to save up crystals and then do extra refills on the LS/DS/Cantina battle raid days. I don't know how serious we are going to take this, but I am running out of desired shards to farm/gear to finish and want to do everything in my power to finally get this unobtainable gear and possibly the new hero shards. The ability to take advantage of this new featuer is a power none have achieved, but, if we work together, I know we can discover the secret. :-)
I wasn't aware we could skip GW on Monday and do it twice on Tuesday. I've always completed it daily so I didn't know Galactic Wars could be accumulated. The top tier of 590 wins is only achieved by a 50 player guild if roughly 40 players complete it and the other ten finish 11 of 12 nodes, so it makes sense for some to pick up the slack by slogging through it twice if time commitment allows.
The Monday task to complete light side battles is interesting. I normally farm Rey, but two of her nodes are dark side and cost 108 energy. If I give up those two nodes on Mondays and sim easy light side battles that cost 6 energy, I add another 18 battles to the guild total. Will that be our strategy?
I don't think it should be a requirement to alter your farming habits due to guild achievements, but I would highly recommend all hardcore players do it.
I'm eager to find out the rewards for these activities. I have no expectation we'll complete 9,900 light side or dark side battles to reach the top tier. Tier IV (3,466) or tier V (5,198) are probably where we'll settle. If I farm pseudo-normally, I'd only make it to a tier IV contribution (69 battles). If I farm selectively, I'd be a contributor to tier V (104 battles). How much reward is in the next tier level may tempt selective farming. Of course, I'll also follow the strategy of our guild leader.

Whatamidoing, you essentially get one galactic war reset a day. I don't remember what day the Galactic war day is, but let's say you finish Galactic War Saturday. Whenever your dailies restart for Sunday, you can reset your Galactic War, and not play any rounds that day. When activities reset on Monday, you can either reset your galactic war again immediately, without playing any nodes, play all of your nodes and then reset, or even wait another day to start.
So I guess the long and the short of it is you get one reset per day, but can spend as much time on any Galactic War as you want.
I got a full 50 player block capped out in under 24 hours on our sister guild Hera's Cell. If someone else wants to take a lead we could likely fill out another overflow block. Kanan's Cell maybe? Sabine, Zeb, Ezra... Chopper? heh.
