I am serously worried that the game is going in a bad direction with this.
It was one of the outstanding advantages that this game had for me that basically there was no urge to do something. Ok... you could not catch all bonus energy if RL didnt let you... wich is regulary the case if you work shifts like me and cant play at work... but well, its ok, i probably spend a bit more money then some others to buy crystals and buy energy from that... It was acceptable even though it would be more cool to have like 3x a day claimable energy with at least 2 hours between each claim... But yes you cant have everything, and the energy is a bonus.
These flash events - even if they are like now announced 1 day 2 hours before they start with exact time - are changing this.
I did play games back when i was at shool where you could loose everything in 2 or 3 hours by having a fleet(that you build up for some months even) crushed while you where asleep/at shool etc... How did players solve that? Either they exchanged phonenumbers and called at nights couse they scanned each other or they even shared logins... well ... been there, done that... its stupid but well... I knew a guy who became depressed and crushed his computer couse he lost a few months work not beeing able to defend his account couse he was at a funeral....
Why am i talking about that? in my opinion, flash-events of 1 hour (or even 4) are a step in that direction, destroying what i love about this game. Yes, there are fixed times when you have to do something (payout etc) but it was perfectly balanced.. as good as it could be on such a game ... now im deeply worried where this may go.
It is and will always be players desicion how dedicated (crazy or not) they play a game. But as i said, for me this game is in danger of loosing a big advantaged that i loved and happily payed for.
Just farm them as long as u can.. consistency is a VERY serious issue at this time. Do it before people whining demand about nerf mod drop rate.
What I would like to know is when are 20 speed secondaries coming back. My besthroat secondary I believe is 15 I've got 2 14s. And for the fact I mod farmed for 3 months straight and only got a few speed arrows and some 10 secondaries I wasn't impressed
Just pray that 100% drop rate not junk mods.. also hope they don't place all nice mods include 20 speed secondary in mod shop.. which can buy via crystal ONLY
My first try at the new rates, 7 Sims, got me 2 5 star speed primaries, one 5 star purple square with speed secondary, and blue 5 star diamond with speed secondary and then the normal junk.
Well not bad.. congratz!! Haven't try it yet, need refill. Stockpile my crystal for double drop event lol
I dont like the gear change. In my opinion it adds to the confusion of is that a piece of gear i legitimately need or not. Creating possible mistaken purchases higher.

It was easier for me to tell the difference before. I went to the exchange and saw a sea of bronze. Guess i got used to thw opd look and how to work around it.
Agreed its easier to differentiate, I just think they should've gone from "less full of color" to "full of sepia toned color" to "fully colored" rather than starting with a "fully sepia colored" to "less full of color looks like a blueprint" to "fully colored." Seems it would've made more sense in visual progression. The least amount of color is the lowest, the toned out color is in the middle, and the fully colored one is fully crafted.
As much as I would like to praise the mod changes it's a massive kick in the face to older players who have burned through tens of thousands of crystals to get the mods they needed. All of a sudden you can buy one crystal pack and spend a few refreshes and boom you're done modding. Would be nice to get some retroactive bonus for all the crystals spent in vain trying to get those elusive 5* mods with secondary speed. Not for all time but maybe this month or some such.

Plenty of community sleuths called it, but for those still wondering, we can confirm that Grand Moff Tarkin has arrived to close our Empire rework series by receiving a devastating faction pass! Head your Squad with Tarkin's leader ability Tighten The Grip, which now adds Defense Down on enemies that go below 100% health on an EMPIRE characters turn. Each Basic attack now increases his Potency, while Ultimate Firepower now does additional damage based on Potency, allowing you to set up a devastating attack. This is complimented by his Special ability, Intimidation Tactics, which temporarily grants himself a 50% Potency up buff. As much as I would like to praise the mod changes it's a massive kick in the face to older players who have burned through tens of thousands of crystals to get the mods they needed. All of a sudden you can buy one crystal pack and spend a few refreshes and boom you're done modding. Would be nice to get some retroactive bonus for all the crystals spent in vain trying to get those elusive 5* mods with secondary speed. Not for all time but maybe this month or some such.
Don't worry.. CG certainly has something up their sleeve. 6 dot mods are probably coming soon so all these mods people are spending refreshes on may become obsolete relatively quickly.
Could mean 330, they've already sold a pack with a 330 possibility before and in other countries like japan they've been selling unique packs that give 330 for a long time now so maybe they're finally going to give us the 330 packs too
Although I wouldn't be surprised if the odds were so low that nobody who buys the pack gets 330

I just bought a vault during the 25% bonus event and spent most of it on mod packs, so this change comes at a bad time for me.
But still, the shoe will be on the other foot soon, so I have to say more rewards are good in general.
