It doesn't matter to me either way. But it does seem odd that the "default" setting changed....because, you know....default.

Challenges seems to hold the answer. There is a big button that says "sim all available". And it does. And this is fantastic on Sundays when there are 6 different battles.
But forcing people to change the slider down to 1 is worse than forcing people to change to the slider to max. I said this in another post, but this feels like a cash grab disguised as a QOL update.
So rather than defaulting to "spend as much energy as possible" maybe they should default to the original with a button like with challenges to "sim all".
Why dont they put in a confirmation window like they have for the GW sim?
Ive personally wasted (used by mistake) about 175 ship energy and about 350 reg energy today.
They probably changed it thinking "heck for the first week or two, people will F up and use all their energy and have to buy more" ie using/ buying more crystals.
For me before this QoL it reset whenever I logged out & back in. Also, that's not as ideal as defaulting to max since your max might change with energy available and farming hard nodes vs. Cantina, etc.
I agree that a "max sim" would be best, but I like this better than defaulting to 1. .
I second GW slider. I am doing BH quests (500 contracts), and can't always do them at lower GW battles easily. Sometimes I wanna sim the first 4-6 and finish the rest.

Also, I feel like *vast* majority of players, *most* of whom do not post online, *want* to max sim all the time.
That still works for me on iOS.
Yes, if you select an amount it'll stay that way till you change it or leave the screen.
