Qui-Gonn team synergies

Hey all, since Qui-Gonn was added to shipments I am going all in on him. I was curious what the best synergies for him are other than the obvious all Jedi team. I am currently running
Lumi
Phasma
Sid
Kylo
JC/Vader/5s/Dooku

Also is it worth it to invest in Poggle from GW if I am going QGJ because they both offer offense up buffs.

So I had a lot of gift cards from Christmas, and decided to splurge and get the Kylo pack and the load of gems that comes with it. Against my better judgement, I decided to buy an 8 Chromium pack, and actually got a decent haul. But one of my better gets also leaves me at a loss to what to do with it. I now have a 2-star Qui-Gon with no way to farm him. Am I just SOL or should I go for it with some more Chromium packs? I don't play on spending any more on the app, so that makes me think I'm better off pretending I don't have him... He wouldn't even be useful until 4/5 star right?

I do expect that in future patches or updates other characters become farmable right? Like QGJ might have a node if cantina and LS/DS battles open up another 2 stages.
Not sure though but I can't imagine certain toons being restricted only out of chromium packs. There should be a day when e.g. Leia/Lando/QGJ etc are farmable.

He is still useful in GW as a leader. Sometimes, if enemy isnslow, Qui Gon can allow you a critical head start. Eg. Daka and dooku will go first, and you'll stun key enemy. Try it out, but you need to know when exactly to bring his leadership. The speed boost lasts evennif you lose him, fornthat game at least.

Example: enemy has 7* leia. She usually goes first and either dires 4x and kills a char, ornhides and then kills two. Send Qui Gon as leader, stun her niw that her speed isnslower than your daka, dooku or asajj.

QGJ give allied Jedi a speedbuff. Daka, Dooku and Asajj are no Jedi.

Well they could just do what they do with Cad Bane and have them as a log in reward over a month... I mean for whatever reason they need to keep number of people logging in every day to play to applease the investors and other financial people.

i am using 7star full up QJG and QGJ drop rate in chrom pack is exclusively high
but that is the advantage for money spenders
If u r not goning to spend more money on chrome pack 2 star QGJ is useless

Seems like it would be more motivating for players spending modest amounts of $ on the game for cromium only characters to at least open for farming on a node after you draw them from a cromium pack..

This is the biggest money grab of all time. Sick people at the top scheming to get your money with not a single thought about how the game will be perceived.

Just let me farm my characters. 1 shard a day max. I really don't care. Anything but being forced to spend more money.

I have opened five 8 packs and got 10 QGJ shards. All of my packs except for one were structured the same. All shards then a character at the end.

And before all you "f2p" players attack. I am not salty about the money wasted. I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can spend money on dumb video games. I actually care about the game and its future.

If you are satisfied with 1 shard a day, I can tell you that you don't need to spend money. Complete F2P gives more than 1 shard a day (400 GW points are 5 shards i.e.). I don't see why it's a moneygrab if you are content with the current shards you can get. It's a moneygrab for people that have a lot of money to spend.
Want to play a real moneygrab, go play clash of clans.

I was talking about Maul, Leia, Aayla etc. mb.
Also, as new player of clash of clans myself you don't really feel the money grab. I understand it gets worse end game. The money grab in this game is likely going to slap you in the face the first day you play.

Why not? Spending money on games is not a crime but a hobby. Like stamp collectors. Instead of collecting stamps you're collecting shards/heroes. Both a complete waste of money but hey its fun lol.

I'm starting to think that ppl think all free games that offer IAP are money grabs. Do they understand the amount of resources that go into creating a games like this? Are movie theaters considered money grabs? The cost of going to the movies is ridiculous!

Who is forcing you to spend money? I have never received a pop up saying that in order to continue playing or farming that I needed to spend money.

Who is forcing you to spend money? I have never received a pop up saying that in order to continue playing or farming that I needed to spend money.

People complain about a lot of things with this game. I have no issues with anything but the fact that I spent 80 bucks and basically got nothing (Maul, Leia, Tusken raider, a few 1 stars). Darth Maul has helped me a lot. However he is becoming obsolete. I would rather have spent 80 dollars for Rey alone.

If I could just have a chance at a single shard per day, the game would be perfect for me. I literally log on do dailys and log off. Table progression every few days. Couldn't care less about my arena rank. It's really not asking for much. As mentioned before, it could be a node unlocked after you pull the character from a chromium. Not holding my breath.

I am in a fortunate position. However I don't like gambling with my money. If I want to gamble I will go to the casino. I really am thinking about other players and how the game moves forward in the future.

Correct. Like almost all characters he's only going to be useful at near max level/gear/star. One of the regular spenders on my server has him on his team and I typically take Qui-gon out first round to avoid his debuff (I have Poggle) and at max stars taking him out is not a sure thing. With only 2* he'd get wiped by just about anyones AOE.

Pretend like you don't have him. Only gear him up if you're overflowing with Jedi and want to use him in GW for a team B or team C leader but even then I don't see much value.

If you're lucky they'll add his shards to some of the levels available with the upcoming patches and you'll have a head start.

4-star characters are delicate snowflakes.

You would be better sticking to a character that you can farm shards for.

I have the same problem with 2* Qui Gon and Leia.

I would've mind paying say $100 dollars each to get them to level 7.

Problem is it would take more like $1,000, and even then nothing is guaranteed.

Best idea ever. Great incentive tu pull Chromium, and still a lot of grind to go. I like this because it seems reasonable, even if drop rates are low end.
